I won two Championships, so can't complain too much. I lost a third Week 17 in a close match. It wasn't so much my guys, but some luck on the other side. The other guy had Rodgers( threw that late big play TD to Cobb), Rivers( got extra points in OT because Succop missed that FG) and the frighteningly inconsistent T Y Hilton went 11-155 after six crap games in a row. I had Cutler, D Thomas, the Carolina D(9 sacks) and Foles, who almost brought me all the way back Sunday night. Lacy and Garcon did not have great games, but they produced all year, so I am not going to complain.

Picked him up on waivers on three teams and all three have made Championship games( 2 have won so far, one is in trouble). After Doug Martin was hurt week 7, I was doing a search of available RBs and saw his name. He was coming off 3 decent, not great games, but he was not in a time share, getting 15 plus carries a game, so I took him, he ran for 134 vs Seattle week 8 and has been starting ever since. After week 9 I was looking for replacements for Darren Sproles and was really shocked to see he was still out there in both of the other leagues. I think in these cases, he was cut by the teams that drafted him after he got hurt week 1 and everyone forgot about it him.

Roddy White will live in infamy for fantasy football season 2013

Well ESPN has gone over to Two week ( Weeks 16 and 17) Championship Finals in their standard format, so it could be the start of a trend. Six of my eight leagues go to week 17 and only three have a One Week Final in week 17. The idea I think is to make a Championship less of a one week crapshoot. Many people lost this week due to bad weeks from players like Megatron, AP, Brees, Forte, Marshall and Desean Jackson. There were also injuries to Vereen and Lacy plus some owners lucked out by Plug and Playing Andy Dalton. And from what I am seeing on the Internet, some championships changed hands on the late SF Pick Six and also the last play pick where Atlanta decided after putting the field goal unit on the field, not to kick and go for a Hail Mary. The Week 17 Sit the Studs risk is less than it is made out to be ( Looks like its only KC this year) and smart people who know the schedule can prepare for this ahead of time. I did by picking up Foles as a back up several weeks ago for Peyton Manning when it appeared the Broncs may clinch early. Its actually rather awesome this year with Week 17 because the injuries to Tony Romo, Lacy, Mathews, Vereen, Andre Brown, and Steve Smith plus the uncertainty as to whether the Lions will play a hurt Calvin in a meaningless last game, are going to cause some owners to scramble their line ups or hit the waiver wire. -
Mean and uncalled for.

Well I held onto to him all season and will be playing him in my Week 17 Championship match next week. -
Can't celebrate yet because its a 2 week final, but I have a BIG lead after week 1 in one league. He had Brees (BAD WEEK) and a flock of mediocre RBs like Dennis Johnson, Danny Woodhead and Bernard plus nothing from his stud WRs Marshall and Megatron. My Romo came close to matching Brees and my RBs. Stacy, Lacy and Leveon Bell KILLED his and Garcon mopped up at WR. Even if Brees, Graham and his stud WRs go off next week, I don't see his RBs getting a break out. Another team is in the final next week, as a #1 seed and a solid favorite. This team is stacked with Peyton, Stacy, Lacy,Gordon, Julius, Garcon, Jeffery, Edelman and Foles who I picked up as week 17 insurance in case the Broncs clinched which turned out not to be the case.

You need to keep him on your roster, but either have another decent reserve in place already or pick someone up on waivers this week. He may not play and even if he does, it could be like this week and he is not 100%. If you already have Decker, that is your answer.

Explain yourself. I didn't draft the guys in the 2013 list and did not draft Rice, Foster, Colston, Smith, Johnson, Mathews or Fitz on any ANY of my teams this year and have made 4 championship finals out of 8 teams. Pretty damn good. Why are any of these guys worth anything other than a 15th round flyer, or are you just trying to be a smart ass?

If your league gives minus points for missed FGs and PATs, pull him. If not, keep him.

Most of the time, it takes SKILL to make the playoffs and the championship match and unless it is a 2 week championship match, then luck can play a part. Thats the way it is. Put yourself in the best position possible and then if it goes your way, fine. If it doesn't, don't lose sleep over it. THIS IS A GAME.

I'm not playing, but my opponent has Vernon Davis in a semi final. I am 11 points ahead. Scoring system is 1 pt per reception, 1 point per 10 yards and 6 points for a TD. I'm thinking if he scores a TD, which he has the last 4 weeks, I'm pretty much done. Otherwise he needs several receptions and decent yards. He's gotten more than 11 4 of the last 5 weeks and Falcons have given up 11 points in 3 of the last 4 so odds do not look good. I got killed by Andy Dalton. No one else on his team did much and no one else got a TD, but my WRs ( Gordon, Jeffery and Antonio Brown) were also shut out from the end zone. Lacy and Stacy's 3 TDs couldn't make up for it.

I don't play in keepers, but in a conventional league, I would rank him #4 also. Behind Peyton, Brees and Rodgers and ahead of Brady, Stafford and the underrated and under appreciated Ben R who would be the bunch in the 5-7 group.
