dcgangstas 41 Posted December 4, 2017 It's amazing how the Saints' offense has morphed into a run-first, run-second team. Drew Brees has transitioned into a game manager role with the offense, and his lack of TD passes reflects that. Michael Thomas (only 3 TD catches) has been really good in PPR scoring, but Kamara's emergence has hurt him in standard leagues.
scottsind 61 Posted December 4, 2017 Keep the Ingram train running! Seems like it has transformed into a 2:1 ratio of Kamara TDs to Ingram TDs respectively. Brees is used to playing with a deficit and playing catch up, which inflated his numbers for many years. He actually has a solid team this year and they can rely on their defense. Definitely hurts his numbers!

Definitely hurts his numbers! They should extend Ingram if they can this offseason, draft depth at oline, draft or spend the rest on defense. Then they will continue to go win crazy for the next three to four years. Brees will have the his lowest numbers of his career, but he can finish out as a healthy QB and he's already a HOFer isn't he?
SaintsInDome2006 128 Posted December 8, 2017 What do Brees owners think of tonight's matchup vs the falcs? Are you going with him or making alternative plans?

He has some insane amount of 5k passing seasons when no one else has more than 1. He has 5 at least. He’s a strictly better Dan Marino in my eyes. Ring and far, far better stats.
thePRO 78 Posted December 8, 2017 Sat Brees for Rivers in one and started him in another. Hard to trust Brees when they're running that good. I know his role his game manager, but I think there's no doubt he could carry the team again if needed. Then of course he threw an interception at a critical time last night, so maybe not. I have faith in that team though.
