titans&bucs&bearsohmy! 2,745 Posted June 15, 2018 62.5 - Terry Bollea aka Hulk Hogan - performing artist Hogan is regarded by many as the greatest professional wrestler of all time.[6] According to IGN, he is "the most recognized wrestling star worldwide and the most popular wrestler of the 1980s".[7] Hogan enjoyed considerable mainstream popularity between 1984 and 1993 as a face in the World Wrestling Federation (WWF, now WWE), which continued for the remainder of the 1990s in World Championship Wrestling (WCW), where he turned heel in 1996 and performed as the villainous New World Order (nWo) leader "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan
ZeroTolerance 582 Posted June 15, 2018 I have considered him but just never pulled the trigger (note, I said 'tri-gger', not that other word the Hulkster likes to use).

Of course, I hit some of the less popular categories early.

ZeroTolerance 582 Posted June 15, 2018 62.8 Coleman A. Young - Fail Detroit mayor from 1974-1994 This is what happens when you get a racist BLM mayor who blames the cops for everything, sends them out to dry in support of whiny criminals and who dislikes white people. Crime goes through the roof, the middle class flees to the suburbs, the poplulation shrinks to half of what it was in the 50s and there's no money for anything, the downward spiral leads, eventualyy to the largest urban bankruptcy in US history. Coleman Young had ties to the Communist Party in his youth and had been kicked out of the UAW for being too radical. He ran the city like third world fiefdom of cronyism and patronaage and he ushered Detroit down the black hole into a crime-riddled urban disaster. ------- 63.1 Richard Feynman - Physics You guys likely don't know Feynman very well but I love, love love this guy and you'll see a lot of the fun and the wacky things he's up to since I'll be revisiting him a lot. He was a young man in Los Alamos, still just a grad student, yet Oppenhemier, Betha, and others recognized him as the brightest young scientist at Los Alomos and he'd go on to win the Nobel Prize. One of the greatest minds, he could troubleshoot problems like no other. He's an unusual mix of being great storyteller and teacher making complex things easy to understand. I'll start with two short videos for you. First, see how easily he can explain things. Such a great teacher. Then, the second video, you can see the moment he springs his findings on NASA as an independent investigators explaining to them how/why the Space Shuttle Challenger blew up. ZeroTolerance 582 Posted June 15, 2018 63.6 - Jonathan Edwards - Thinker/Philosopher Jonathan Edwards (October 5, 1703 – March 22, 1758) was an American revivalist preacher, philosopher, and Congregationalist Protestant theologian. Like most of the Puritans, he held to the Reformed theology. His colonial followers later distinguished themselves from other Congregationalists as "New Lights" (endorsing the Great Awakening), as opposed to "Old Lights" (non-revivalists). Edwards is widely regarded as "one of America's most important and original philosophical theologians". Edwards' theological work is broad in scope, but he was rooted in Reformed theology, the metaphysics of theological determinism, and the Puritan heritage. Recent studies have emphasized how thoroughly Edwards grounded his life's work on conceptions of beauty, harmony, and ethical fittingness, and how central The Enlightenment was to his mindset. Edwards played a critical role in shaping the First Great Awakening, and oversaw some of the first revivals in 1733–35 at his church in Northampton, Massachusetts. Edwards delivered the sermon "Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God", a classic of early American literature, during another revival in 1741, following George Whitefield's tour of the Thirteen Colonies. Edwards is well known for his many books, The End For Which God Created the World, The Life of David Brainerd, which inspired thousands of missionaries throughout the 19th century, and Religious Affections, which many Reformed Evangelicals still read today. Edwards died from a smallpox inoculation shortly after beginning the presidency at the College of New Jersey (Princeton). He was the grandfather of Aaron Burr, third Vice President of the United States.

RaiderHaters Revenge 3,578 Posted June 15, 2018 my thought was his case is different then the man fighting for it, and he was fighting for it long before it went to court I think similar to the fact I took Walt Disney, and someone later took Walt Disney Company, if thats ok then this should be too same with Hefner and Playboy

Voltaire 4,556 Posted June 16, 2018 Now here's another short clip of Feynman making atomic science fun and easy to understand. Really, he doesn't sound incoherent like some of these top scientists, he can explain seemingly complex science like a friendly high school science teacher. At Los Alamos he was recognized by Oppenheimer, Berthe and others as the most promising young physicist there. One group had been stuck on something for three months, Feynman says "why don't you try it like this?" and had the thing solved in a half hour. So even though he was among the youngest there, he'd yet to have completed his doctoral degree, he was given a small staff of other nuclear physicists to work with who would go on to win the Nobel Prize among other things. And he's got great stories, a great story teller, about Los Alamos and the jokes and pranks he pulled there, He taught himself to pick locks so he could plant funny notes in top secret files. All the security there was over the top, but there was a hole in the fence so he got detained because the gate guards saw him always leaving, leaving, leaving, but they never saw him come back. I think you put any great RB from today back then and they are men among boys as well Also I watched Payton play and while hes the constantly considered the greatest, I dont think hes as complete of a back as the 2 guys who are my top 2 my rank goes 1) LT 2) Faulk 3) Payton 4) Brown 5) Sanders

5-Points 2,726 Posted June 16, 2018 We're hitting the road to go visit my folks and won't be back until tonight so I'm going to go ahead with my picks now. I thought I had already drafted one of these guys but I didn't and since I'm shallow at prospects for the position, I'm going to double dip here... 63.8 Alfred Kinsey - Social Scientist Alfred Charles Kinsey (/ˈkɪnzi/; June 23, 1894 – August 25, 1956) was an American biologist, professor of entomology and zoology, and sexologist who in 1947 founded the Institute for Sex Research at Indiana University,[1] now known as the Kinsey Institute for Research in Sex, Gender, and Reproduction. He is best known for writing Sexual Behavior in the Human Male (1948) and Sexual Behavior in the Human Female (1953), also known as the Kinsey Reports, as well as the Kinsey scale. Kinsey's research on human sexuality, foundational to the field of sexology, provoked controversy in the 1940s and 1950s. His work has influenced social and cultural values in the United States, as well as internationally. Kinsey is widely regarded as the first major figure in American sexology; his research is cited as having paved the way for a deeper exploration into sexuality among sexologists and the general public, as well as liberating female sexuality.[23][24] For example, Kinsey's work disputed the notions that women generally are not sexual and that female orgasms experienced vaginally are superior to clitoralorgasms.[23][24] He initially became interested in different forms of sexual practices in 1933, after discussing the topic extensively with a colleague, Robert Kroc. Kinsey had been studying the variations in mating practices among gall wasps. During this time, he developed a scale measuring sexual orientation, now known as the Kinsey scale, which ranges from 0 to 6, where 0 is exclusively heterosexual and 6 is exclusively homosexual; a rating of X for "no socio-sexual contacts or reactions" was later added. In 1935, Kinsey delivered a lecture to a faculty discussion group at Indiana University, his first public discussion of the topic, wherein he attacked the "widespread ignorance of sexual structure and physiology" and promoted his view that "delayed marriage" (that is, delayed sexual experience) was psychologically harmful. Kinsey obtained research funding from the Rockefeller Foundation, which enabled him to further study human sexual behavior.[25] He published Sexual Behavior in the Human Male in 1948, followed in 1953 by Sexual Behavior in the Human Female, both of which reached the top of the bestseller lists and turned Kinsey into a celebrity. These publications later became known as the Kinsey Reports. Articles about him appeared in magazines such as Time, Life, Look, and McCall's. The Kinsey Reports, which led to a storm of controversy, are regarded by many as a precursor to the sexual revolution of the 1960s and 1970s. 64.1 B.F. Skinner - Social Scientist Burrhus Frederic Skinner (March 20, 1904 – August 18, 1990), commonly known as B. F. Skinner, was an American psychologist, behaviorist, author, inventor, and social philosopher.[2][3][4][5] He was the Edgar Pierce Professor of Psychology at Harvard University from 1958 until his retirement in 1974.[6] Skinner considered free will an illusion and human action dependent on consequences of previous actions. If the consequences are bad, there is a high chance the action will not be repeated; if the consequences are good, the probability of the action being repeated becomes stronger.[7] Skinner called this the principle of reinforcement.[8] To strengthen behavior, Skinner used operant conditioning, and he considered the rate of response to be the most effective measure of response strength. To study operant conditioning, he invented the operant conditioning chamber, also known as the Skinner Box,[9] and to measure rate he invented the cumulative recorder. Using these tools, he and REDACTED produced his most influential experimental work, which appeared in their book Schedules of Reinforcement (1957).[10][11] Skinner developed behavior analysis, the philosophy of that science he called radical behaviorism,[12] and founded a school of experimental research psychology—the experimental analysis of behavior. He imagined the application of his ideas to the design of a human community in his utopian novel, Walden Two,[13] and his analysis of human behavior culminated in his work, Verbal Behavior.[14] Skinner was a prolific author who published 21 books and 180 articles.[15][16] Contemporary academia considers Skinner a pioneer of modern behaviorism, along with REDACTED A June 2002 survey listed Skinner as the most influential psychologist of the 20th century.[
