k9tofive 0 Posted August 20, 2006 I am guessing you had a late pick in a 8/10 team league and took R Johnson and S Smith as your first two picks. WRs are good: You have a legitiamte WR1 and two WR2s in Driver and Chambers with good WR3 options for bye weeks. RB is weak: After Rudi you have some ???. Addai has some upside - all he needs is 2/3 of the touches Edge got to be in the 1200yd/6TD range. D Davis is hurt and T Jones is RBBC. I would grab C Taylor ( I am shocked no one did) AND Foster off WW and drop a DEF and TE - you only need to carry one. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
dalie 2 Posted August 20, 2006 For the most part you look o.k., except at RB I think you are weak. Rudi is a good RB1 but after that you are weak unless DD stays healthy - but that doesn't seem too likely at this piont IMO. T Jones is a RBBC back who will lose alot to Benson possibly and Addai is the same with Rhodes in Indy. I would pick up Chester Taylor to cover DD and drop a low WR (Porter or Clayton?), I would also pick up Bulger over Green, with Holt and the other WR's in STL I can't believe he wasn't drafted. Do you have to start 3+ WR's? Ronnie brown was probably drafted before steve smith so even if you took out bush and shockey the trade would look like you traded your 2nd round pick for his first rounder...add in bush and shockey it looks great for you. dagreatwhun 0 Posted August 21, 2006 it's an 8 man league we start 1 QB 2 WR's 2 RB's 1 TE 2 W/T's im pretty sure i'm goin to accept the trade anything else i need? any specific suggestions, because i think i can make deals for almost anyone. i might get michael vick in this trade too. should i pick up bulger too? and who should i drop with all these players coming in? J-Money 4 Posted August 21, 2006 i'd do it, chambers and driver should be a good starting wr tandem and Rudi and Brown are a great rb tandem. lv_2_hack 0 Posted August 22, 2006 you should of never gotten that many. I would try to get rid of either Bush, Addai, Taylor, or DD. Trade one of those 4 for a decent level wr. Even if you have to go with RJ or Ronnie Brown str8 up for a top tier wr. you need wr's now and have WAY, WAY, WAy too many RB's, especially when you have to start 2 wr's and 2 wr/te's.
