1990... doesn't seem that long ago really.

 

the 2000's are still "new" to me - even though they're basically 20 fockin years old... I mean, I hear a car is a 2005 or '06 and I initially think that's sounds pretty new... but it ain't.

 

1979 sound old to me... maybe the early 80's too... but in 1990, I was an adult - of voting and drinking age - so it's focking insane to me that 1990 is an antique.

I remember it so well because that was the era '76-'84 where KC and NY was one of the best rivalries going and Brett had all but knocked their ass out of the play-offs in '80 to advance KC to their first World Series

I think I would have been like 13, but back then I think only the road games were televised so I recall watchin a bunch of them
