Tamiflu and Hallucinations

Recommended Posts

My kids have the flu and the doctor gave us a script for Tamiflu. Last night was the first night giving it to my kids. My daughter woke up an hour after bed time and was crying and just acting a weird. I finally got her back to bed. My son slept through the night. Tonight my son woke up and said his bed was flying and that he was flying. I brought him down stairs where he is sleeping on the couch. Focking crazy sh1t man.

I won't be giving them any more and will talk to the doctor tomorrow.

How bad was/is their fever and how much anti-biotecs were they on? Those two factors play into it also. I had a severe case of mono as a kid. If they have high fever, don't eat, and are sleeping all day, it's a major cause for concern.

Fever cooks your brain. Check that first.

When I got teh flu a month or so ago, I had hallucinations, too.

High fever does this to people. Freaky chit

Hopre your kids pull through. A 103 temp with your rugrats is a hell of a lot safer than a 103 temp with us old focks

Pretty low 100.3 but got as high as 103.8 earlier in the day.

I don't mean to scare but but when my "kids" were given it couple months back the doctor told them any thoughts of suicide to be reported to us immediately and stop taking the medicine.

That scared the Fvck out of me
