We have a new boss's boss who has never worked in sales but like most tech people thinks he understands sales. Also he set it up at 7:55 vs. 8 because he thinks he is clever and with laggers we'll start at 8, but since he is in our chain of command, we all show up at 7:55. On the bright side, it should be uphill after that. I've always had to deal with the exact opposite, sales people who have never worked on my side who think they can sell our services.
