edjr 5,547 Posted June 28, 2016 Most wins in Division 1A women's hoops. That may be impressive, but she never really did what so many other college coaches do. She never took on the challenge of winning at the WNBA level

Mungwater 588 Posted June 28, 2016 The craziest stat is the 100% graduation rate, but I guess you don't have the draw of leaving early to be a top pick and make $38K a year
Sho Nuff 719 Posted June 28, 2016 RIP...extremely good basketball coach and have found very few people who didn't like her. Ran her program well, won, and had kids graduate. Every coach should aspire to be like her.

titans&bucs&bearsohmy! 2,745 Posted June 28, 2016 My home state is in mourning. Probably the most universally beloved person in the state, even more than Peyton. Never heard a single bad thing said about her. Back in the early days of the program, she drove the bus and did the laundry. Truly built that program from nothing. kilroy69 993 Posted June 28, 2016 I am impressed with what she did but to consider her to be on a level with bear bryant and Lombardi is absurd. The womens college basketball world is 4 big schools and the rest is like rec league. If we are going to call her the best college coach in any sport ever(which they are) I want to add in my pee wee football coach who never lost a game. He was the best football coach ever.......even though he put together an all star team that beat up on other crappy teams.
