So now she's not even in the ballpark of even being on the extreme end of being an Indian, I believe. Wasn't that 1/32nd?

So my take away is big deal, she was proud of her small sliver of of Native American heritage and let people know about it. When Eastern Michigan changed their name from the Hurons to the Eagles, over the objection of the Huron tribe, Central Michigan saw the writing on the wall and proactively teamed up with the Chippewa tribe to prevent the same thing from happening there. CMU is still the Chippewas.
