    Brees breaks Marino's Record

He breaks the all time passing record held by Dan Marino and has a good chance of winning the superbowl. Shouldn't he be MVP?

An over of 52.5 should mean lots of points scored tonight. Saints are favored by 6.5 points. Saints won by 3 in Atlanta a few weeks ago on a botched 4th down call by the head coach. Atlanta isn't injured and hasn't played since last Thursday when they killed Jacksonville so Atlanta should be well rested. Atlanta's main incentive to win is to up their seed by winning this week and next week and hoping the Saints lose to Carolina next week. The Saints want to keep #2 seed hopes alive by winning tonight and winning next week coupled with SanFran losing to the Rams next week. At this point I'm thinking Saints cover, because they don't want to even be in the 4th quarter where Atlanta can go ahead by a field goal at the end of the game. The Saints have quicker strike offense than Atlanta, and I think that's the difference. So my lean is Saints -6.5.

Looking Ahead to FF Redrafts: 2012 (12/19/11)

I'd feel shafted if I ended up with Forte as my first round pick.

Who is the best running back in football?

Arion Foster without any doubt what so ever. Foster was #1 on most draft lists prior to week 1 this year, and will definately be going #1 next year. 2 years ago, even though he had the best stats, he could've been picked up in the 5th or later rounds. Nobody knew him then. All time best? Maybe. Priest Holmes and Marshall Faulk had some nice years too.

Hey no problem. It'll be interesting as to how they adjust the line. The Packers were 13 point favorites with the conclusion of the 49er game unknown. Now the conclusion is known, so one would think the spread would go higher like to 16.5 or something like that. Or, maybe they just took the line off because this is the lag effect after the 49er game. The line was taken away initially because if Seattle won, Rodgers wouldn't have to play much or play at all. That would mean a closer game. But now the Packers have to win, so the line will soon go back to what it was at 13. It does seem like Sunday though.

    FU Steve Smith

My Team:...................... My opponents team: QB Michael Vick 20.72..... QB Aaron Rodgers WR Victor Cruz 22.40........ WR Hakeem Nicks 2.00 WR Steve Smith 3.20...... WR Laurent Robinson 0.50 WR Julio Jones............ WR Torrey Smith 3.80 RB C.J. Spiller 19.80........ RB Jonathan Stewart 15.90 RB Shonn Greene 7.80... RB Kahlil Bell TE Jimmy Graham........ TE Dustin Keller 7.70 K John Kasay................ K Dan Bailey 1.00 DEF Kansas City 5.00....... DEF Tennessee 4.00 78.92.......................................34.90 Can't complain so far. But with Rogers and Kahlil Bell still to play, this is far from over. But as you can see I'm not relying 100% on Steve Smith (CA).

    FU Steve Smith

Yes, I have Steve Smith (CA) in my lineup, but it doesn't seem like Dez Bryant or Vincent Jackson are doing a whole lot better. And they're on my bench. Still in this, but I don't want rogers to go bonkers tomorrow.

    Cruz Control

    Needed that one.

    Micheal Bush might not play?!?!?!

I'm playing C.J. Spiller instead. I simply won't let an injury ruin the game in week 16. However, on the Fantasy Freak Show, which aired live at 8:00 p.m. on December 23rd Brad Evans and Andy Behrens both said they'd start Michael Bush over C.J. Spiller when confronted by a caller. So, it's interesting, because they'd both know about the injury to Bush and his missed practices.

Post your Playoff/Championship match up and pick winners of others

I think I like the opponent's team better. Obviously we know Foster already 23 points, so this prognostication is a bit late. Kahlil Bell, will get full time work and Green Bay won't stop him. Ryan Monday night is going to be tough. Wallace without Big Ben is not the same. Good luck though, you still have a chance.
