which way do I go? RB, WR, or TE

ok, my draft is tomorrow night in a 12 team 5 keeper league... I am keeping Palmer, Tomlinson, Alexander, Steven Jackson and Chad Johnson....We have 2 teams that have totally dropped there teams and those 2 teams will comprise of the 1st 5 rounds and then drop to the end of round 6 when all teams start drafting so I will have the 17th pick...#7 in round 6....we start 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 flex (RB or WR) 1 TE, k and def....scoring all 6 point tds....qb 1 point every 25 yards, 5 points at 250....Rb and WR 1 point every 25 yards, 5 point bonus at 100...TE 1 point every 25 yards 5 point bonus at 50....WR's and TE's now also get 1 point per reception....he is what the keeper rosters look like...my ream in bold...So what do I do with that 1st pick...I was thinking TE if Whitten makes it to me....or WR Driver perhaps...or do i just get best player regardless....if willie Parker is sitting there do I take him and get WR'S later....any thoughts??

To start off your team is pretty incredible already! I don't think I would mess with any RB's but would rather try and strengthen your WR's. Don't look like you need much help though!

your team is top notch. other good teams in your league though as well. i would look to take another WR to go with CJ. your RBs don't need any help.

I was offered Daryl Jackson for Steven Jackson and swap draft picks so I would move up 4 spots in the draft to the 3rd pick...should I pull the trigger or no...

I'd say you're pretty set at RB's with Shawn, LJ and Jackson. I would try to get another WR to compliment Chad Johnson. It's going to be tough to know what will be there when you draft but I'd take the top WR or TE. At TE, I actually like Cooley better than Whitten. The KC Offensive Coordinator is now in Washington and we all know what he did for his last TE. The Redskins have been developing some plays to get Cooley more involved including going downfield more to him and even putting him in the backfield. Don't forget he ended last year on a strong note with a 3 TD performance.
