McGahee/Wayne for Parker/Holt?

Recommended Posts

Okay. I've been looking to really fill all the holes on my team, and through the draft, trades, and waivers, my team looks like this

QB- Brady

Bledsoe

RB- LJ

Portis

McGahee

Fred Taylor

WR-Chambers

Wayne

Branch

Lelie (picked him up off waivers today after I heard about the trade to ATL)

Evans

TE- Shockey

K- Kaeding

DEF- Redskins

Tampa Bay

I think I need to upgrade at WR and there's a guy in my league thats starting LT, Parker, Holt, and Fitzy as his 2 RB's and WR's. I offered him McGahee and Wayne for Parker and Holt, seeing this as an upgrade for both of us. Anyone agree? disagree? think the trade is unfair either way? unlikely to be accepted? any input would be greatly appreciated.

I dont think that trade helps you.

It may help him, but I dont think it helps you.

Parker wont put up the numbers McGahee will. (even though McGahee is running behind a weaker O Line)

and I think Holt & Wayne are more or less a wash.

sure I'd rather have holt than Wayne, He will probably get a few more points.... but I dont think the upgrade there is worth dumping McGahee.

Parker went almost 2 rounds later than McGahee in our draft.

Wayne & holt went in the same round (with holt being taken 2 picks earlier)

so unless our whole Fantasy football league is way out to lunch, I think you should pull the deal off the table before the guy accepts your deal.

Thanks for the input guys. Any suggestions as to how to upgrade a bit at WR? Cause I feel like it's the only postion I'm lacking in.
