Anyone catch this last night??? I thought it was fairly decent. Had some intense moments and some decent gore for a network TV show. What did you think???

Rerunning it on Friday on Fox. I saw parts of it and it seemed decent. Judging from my viewing habits, I might make 2 episodes.

I watched it tonight and thought is has potential. I like the fact that it is going to go 14 weeks in a row, gives you a chance to get into it.

There are a lot of good shows that take a few episodes to get into. If the acting was pretty good for the pilot i would stick around for at least a few episodes.

The acting is average...at best, but it's about a serial killer which I generally am really into so I'm in for now. Like I said, it's a little far fetched IMO, but maybe they explain some things down the road that make me go at first.

No, it is really about a nutty serial killer who is torturing the cop trying to catch him. The serial killer has people on the outside who are helping him out (a.k.a. the Following) by having them do the dirty work.

I'm always into the serial killer movies and shows, so I gave it a shot. Enjoyed it, actually. The pacing of the show was very good, didn't feel like it lasted an hour. I was impressed by how far along the story moved in such a short time without being rushed. Hoping for more character development going forward. Everyone was pretty flat in the pilot, although that's kinda hard to avoid.

Only new shows with any real staying power are Elementary , I hope "Last Resort" but it's starting to already wear a little thin , and Vegas ---- maybe that Arrow on CW as well.

Liked that use of the Deftones' Change (in the house of flies). Always liked that song and its creepy sound fit right in.

Both seasons of that show lost me as it went along...I didn't see the last few episodes of either season...and didn't really feel bad about missing them either.

Yeah I remember you were pretty disgusted with season one about halfway through. Can't blame you there. Season two was more evrn imo, but it also hit a lull about 2/3rds of the way through. The season finale was actually pretty good though.

I agree that two or three episodes could have been chopped from each season.

 

My suggestion on season two is to watch up to the episode where the Nazi doc cremates himself. Then skip ahead to the finale. You'll probably like a few of the characters in the end

Episode 1 - not very good, but pilots rarely are

 

Episode 2 - this is getting intriguing, maybe it will be a solid show

 

Episode 3 - how are they going to make an entire series out of this??

The show looks like it could be good but just isn't -- I do like the bad guy and his whole -- Gerad Butler (law abiding citizen) vibe. And it could get interesting if that FBI chick is indeed one of his "following" -- only saw 2 episodes and so far not getting it.

 

Only 2 good shows have been Elementary and Banshee on Max.
