Recommended Posts

Is it so hard to believe he was a flunky security guard at Pepsi before becoming a mall cop?

Get my Christmas bonus tomorrow. Nice

One would think that the bored libs would be happy that Trump is asking her for her advice. Good move by him.

I think some of them are scarred he might actually succeed.

The left wing and the press really did a job on these people. It's like they were in a cult and then thrown out on the street.

big time

So, after all that, you think going with the "stupid" insult is the best move. All righty, then.

It's not the stupid part, stupid. It's the Slownuff part, that's the insult. If you were smart you would have understood that.

At least I can grasp the concept of ignore. You're struggling mightily every day with it.

All partisanship aside, I am very worried that the guy is a fraud who will simply fock all of us. Like Trump University but on the national scale. Even more for the rich, even less for the middle class. And if you look at who he's putting in his cabinet it sure seems like that's where he's heading, and fast.

But let's pretend somehow he is the economic populist he ran as. I don't think he has the solutions. Tear up free trade agreements? Bring jobs back? It just ain't happening. These jobs that have left will all be lost to mechanization eventually. And many others that haven't left yet. You aren't getting them back. The question is how in the fock do we adjust to that? Not how do we unwind the clock 60 years to middle class factory workers with white picket fences and a stay at home mom.

I don't think he's anywhere near up to the task even assuming that he actually intends to improve things for the middle class.

And I'll prove it to you guys that it isn't partisan: I liked Bernie Sanders. The socialism thing didn't bother me because of my political leanings. I liked him because I believed he REALLY WOULD approach the problem with the middle class's best interests at heart. But even Bernie... he was wrong to focus on TPP and things like that. That's relitigating the last 30 years when we ought to be focused on figuring out the NEXT 30

If I see a balanced buget this time next year I'll give him all the credit deserved. My guess is we'll be far over the 500 bil deficit Obama has had the last couple years.

Lost in this discussion is that Trump is setting up this strategic forum of business leaders to address how fun gubment negatively impacts business, and is inviting vocal critics of his.

Is this a bad thing? How Nazi of him.
