Bijan, barring injury, will just about be a top 10 RB by default. That's kind of how he was last season. He was just a rookie, so maybe he will be better with experience, a better QB, HC, etc. That said, I didn't see the RB that everybody seemed to think he was gonna be last season. Not that he's bad and won't get better, but it's still a bit of a wait and see. Kyle Pitts is in a similar boat. He may finish as a top 10 TE kind of by default. That's just the sad state of the RB and TE positions in modern day fantasy football. Top 10 at each means only marginally better numbers than the guys at the top of the waiver wire.

It's just sort of a made up term. I don't know how you're supposed to tackle someone without dropping your hips. That's just sort of the physical nature of a tackle. I guess you could say it's kind of an extension of the Horse Collar Tackle. Pretty soon it's gonna be that you just can't tackle anyone from behind

Okay you're clearly just an Emmitt hater I'll disregard anything else I hear from you about him
-
I imagine he'll be available then. I just don't see a big rush to draft him early
-
I've treated RBs like they're waiver wire TEs for the most part the past 3 seasons or so on my dynasty team. It's worked very well for me. I'm loaded at QB, WR, and TE.
-
Honestly, in dynasty, I personally wouldn't put any RB in the top 5. Not in this day and age.

The hype with Pitts isn't going away. He may not be drafted up there with guys like Kelce or LaPorta, but once those top guys are gone, he will be next. Too many people will bank on the new QB and system with nothing really to lose with him vs a mediocre TE

That explains why never responded when I sent him cards to sign as a kid Troy Aikman did though. I got a letter back from him like 2 months later with the two cards I sent him signed. Him and David Robinson of the San Antonio Spurs were the only ones to do so.

I take a flier on a rookie QB about every year. I have J Herbert, CJ Stroud, and Anthony Richardson. A lot of people still sleep on QBs, even in dynasty. I pick them up as rookies and then when they blow up I can trade them for pretty good value.

Gus Edwards to be the bell cow for the chargers?

I'm pretty sure he keeps that role as the goal line RB. Which of course gives him reasonable value alone. I don't know that we see a lot of 25 carry, `130 yard games from him, but if he can keep scoring TDs, and maybe even get a little work in the passing game, he should be a good guy to have on your team -
5 RBs and 5 WRs I would probably slant it a little more towards the WRs but it's close. McCaffrey or Tyreek 1st and 2nd. After that, I would likely go with a run of WRs. They're just much more reliable than the RBs IMO.

I've seen a lot of different dynasty rankings but this is the first I've seen with CeeDee Lamb even being tops at WR, certainly tops overall... That said, I could see it
-
This is PPR but it is noted that non PPR wouldn't be a big change. 1. CeeDee Lamb 2. Justin Jefferson 3. Ja'Marr Chase 4. Bijan Robinson 5. Breece Hall Full list of 240- https://www.espn.com/fantasy/football/story/_/id/15698900/mike-clay-dynasty-rookie-fantasy-football-rankings

I was duped by all the Pitts hype, and drafted him on my dynasty team as a rookie. He's been god awful as everyone knows. It's difficult to think he won't be better with a better QB, system etc. However, he gave up a lot of targets and numbers to Jonnu Smith last season. That tells me that it's as much he sucks as it does it's the system.

I guess we'll see, but I have my doubts. I think if he were a bell cow type of RB, he would have been so in Baltimore.
