Super Bowl 51 - New England vs. Atlanta: In-Game Discussion
TUM301 replied to Mike FF Today's topic in FFToday Board
Quasi-Dilfer Mode ? Hmmmm, the I`st game he was basically a rookie against "the Greatest Show on Trurf" , zero turnovers and a last minute game winning drive with no timeouts. The next 2 games Panthers and Eagles, he averaged 26 completions 295 yds and had 5 TD`s and 1 pick. Plus another last minute game winning drive. I know you`re a Manning guy and the 2 with different teams, unique yes but that 2`nd one, well he was on the winning team. The last items that convince me Brady is # 1, longevity and the fact he`s done this with ZERO Hall Of Famers. As you said, comparing different eras is great discussion and what makes the site interesting. O K, as far as RB`s go, I`ll take Walter Payton. -
Super Bowl 51 - New England vs. Atlanta: In-Game Discussion

Actually, I think the biggest gift wrapped victory in sports was when the Colts beat the Bears in the Super Bowl. That Bears team with Orton at the helm I believe, was just plain awful ! -
Was Bell listed on any of the Pitt injury reports last week, he missed a couple of practices didn`t he ? Just guessing but if word got out about a possible groin injury, again why so many carries previous 2 weeks, thinking the line moves 1.5 maybe 2 pts.

Tomlin, or maybe that`s where Roger really was after all.
-
As far as I can tell, Tomlin`s main claim to coaching fame is that he walks around looking like he`s got a pant load of . they`ve played Brady 11 times, 11, and still playing 90% zone on defense and handing the ball off down 10+ points in Foxboro in the 3`rd quarter. Great, his players like to play for him but for cripes sakes make some(any) adjustments. The "scowls" along carry you so far !!!! P S Pats 33 falcons 24

Meredith, hope he`s a sell in all my leagues because I`m buying all the way.

Poor performances in the playoffs make owners feel like this is their last time playing FF

Pretty sure it`s about the same in most leagues, it takes skill to make the playoffs but winning them is as much about luck as anything else. -
Haven`t seen the Golden Tate catch and run winning T D in slow motion but that stupid "back flip" and hit at the goal line would have been and interesting call had he fumbled.
-
7 carries, 4 targets 3 catches for a total of 91 yards. Watched most of the game and kept seeing chunks of yards from this kid, but 10 total touches seems way under used. G B has been a mess for about 18 games now and have a feeling Rodgers has tuned out the staff. At 4-4 next week will be a real tell of things to come. Again, thought Monty would get at least 8+ targets out of the back field but just didn`t happen.

For me this week it`s Manning or Winston at S F. These Manning decisions seems to burn me EVERY time, I sit him (like last week 400/3) play him and get those 212 yds 1 td 1 pick game. Well it`s an early play Sun and for what it`s worth me, I`d go with Smith vs N O but not Bradford in Philly.

Got to go with the NYG`s passing attempts and offensive outlook. Giants running game, and defense, is what it is meaning Eli will be flinging it around more often than not. If Beckham plays all 16 he should be around 100/1500/15 tds.

The G State Warriors..............

Would not surprise me at all to see him at least talk, if not sign, with New England. Lewis 2 bad knee injuries and the Brady window has to close sooner than later. Should be interesting. In N E the 30 year old would be looking at say 12 carries and 5-7 targets a week which could result in decent RB 2 #`s with the Pats offense.
