Football Fan 20 2 Posted August 15, 2006 I need someone to fill in just in case Portis is out for the year. I have Ronnie Brown as my #2 who will now move into my #1 if Portis is out. I guess I will move Chester Taylor into the #2 spot but I was wondering out of Addai, Betts and Rhodes who I should pick up to be the backup. Thanks to all you fantasy minds. Portis will not be out for the year. His injury is "the best case sceanrio" for a separated shoulder: the joint did not pop out. 2. marino 0 Posted August 15, 2006 Dude.. don't panic. Portis will not be out for the year. Furthermore, you would be trading for Foster... who is more injury prone than Portis is. not cool Manning would be awesome, but he alone will not win you a championship. On the other hand, Bledsoe is poised to have a monster year, so I would stay put. As for the backups, I would pick Rhodes and just as an insurance, I would definitely take a chance on Addai.
