is 3-5 too late to make the playoffs?

in my league 6 out of 12 teams are 3-5 and 8 make the playoffs. so if you were in our league, i'd say hell yes you have a chance. keep being creative with on the waiver wire and trades. one player acquisition could be what it takes. do you have a player o your bench who could help someone else, trade his to get someone who can help you. at some point you have to throw depth out the window for starters who score enough to get you into the playoffs. once in, anything can happen..

I have 2 teams that are 3-5. One is 1 game out, the other 2 games. Not giving up. Never have, never will and I really think the first team will get in.

I'm 3-5 and I'm total points leader. I lost by 1.5 this week and 0.5 earlier, always to the highest or 2nd highest point scorer. I plan to make the playoffs and win the championship still though, just like I did last year in my first year in this league. I'm currently in 5th place but only 4 make the playoffs.

I hope i make it. I'm 3-5 with the most points scored and the most points scored against by a lot. Currently 7th place out of 12. I can't catch a break even with Peyton Manning at the helm as I always play the top or second highest scoring team of the week.

I'm pretty sure there's no freakin way I can win the division but I'm still the 4th highest scorer, and should be 4-4 had I not benched Josh Gordon last minute last week for Chris Ivory Just depends on how far back you are from the last guy in.

at the end of the day, it really depends what other teams in your league do.

 

I've seen teams at 8-5 miss the playoffs (10 team 6 playoff spots) and I've seen teams at 6-7 make the playoffs.

 

The general rule, is you probably need to be at least 7-6 in this format to have a good chance and 8-5 usually gets you there.

 

at 6-7 you usually need to get lucky and have the tiebreakers in your favour to have any chance at all.
