Flyfreak 84 Posted December 18, 2014 Frank Gore is "moving through the concussion protocol," and expected to start Saturday's game against the Chargers. Gore practiced on Thursday, getting in a limited session. It's excellent news for the 49ers, as Carlos Hyde (ankle, back) is expected to be sidelined. Struggling mightily in the second half of the season, Gore will be a middling FLEX play for the fantasy finals. He'll be backed up by FB Bruce Miller and Alfonso Smith. Filthy Fernadez 2,696 Posted December 18, 2014 The Niners have mailed it in; especially with Harbaugh openly considering the Michigan coaching job and the Niners cutting McDonald because of the rape investigation. Rivers might be worth a spot start in Fanduel.

roroco 75 Posted December 19, 2014 SF RBs are useless as long as they keep thinking they are the next Greatest Show on Earth. They don't like to play smash mouth football anymore. Since, Kaep is not a great QB, they just don't score enough. SF's entire offense should ride the fantasy pine.
Skinny_Bastard 154 Posted December 19, 2014 Actually, SF running game have been pretty good. It's just that both Gore and Hyde splits carries. Now if only ONE guy gets the rock, it might be different. Game is Saturday. Until he's clear, you have to assume he's out.
IMMensaMind 459 Posted December 19, 2014 Now I have an added guy to wonder about to start. I actually think that Gore could perform pretty well against SD on Sat. He had 29 yds + 10yd TD in short order against SEA, after all...

Game is Saturday. Until he's clear, you have to assume he's out. Except, it hasn't. They have 1615 total rushing yards this year. You take away Kaep's 425 yards, then ALL the backs together are are averaging 85 yards per game. Also, Hyde and Gore have the only rushing TDs, but they only have 7 total. So... Facts...
