US Officials: Info suggests Trump associates may have coordinated with Russians

 

The FBI has information that indicates associates of President Donald Trump communicated with suspected Russian operatives to possibly coordinate the release of information damaging to Hillary Clinton's campaign, US officials told CNN.

 

This is partly what FBI Director James Comey was referring to when he made a bombshell announcement Monday before Congress that the FBI is investigating the Trump campaign's ties to Russia, according to one source.

The FBI is now reviewing that information, which includes human intelligence, travel, business and phone records and accounts of in-person meetings, according to those U.S. officials. The information is raising the suspicions of FBI counterintelligence investigators that the coordination may have taken place, though officials cautioned that the information was not conclusive and that the investigation is ongoing.

The Intelligence Community clearly has evidence that Trump and his team were working with/coordinating the Russians on when and what to release on Clinton. It's a train picking up speed. Every break leads to a bigger break. A month ago they had the suspicion, a week ago thy had circumstantial evidence, today they have direct evidence, and tomorrow they will have proof. If you can't see the writing on the wall, then.....

 

Where it leaves us is here: Everyone says they would choose Country over Party, but when you are dug in for your party, it's a tough thing to do emotionally.

• The people that just can't quite force themselves to choose country over party will argue that Trump working for/with The Russians isn't a big deal because all that occurred was people learned true things about Clinton. Greater good and all.
• Those that can see the bigger picture and actually choose Country over Party will realize that a candidate working with a foreign government to win a US Election is kinda bad, seeing that the Russians now have blackmail material/influence over the President of the United States. Luckily it looks like we will never have to learn how that part of the situation would have played out (the simple guess is we leave NATO and Russia expands, as initial steps in these processes were already ongoing)

It shouldn't be a partisan issue, but it is and I get it when "the team" is involved. It's not really fair that one side has to deal with this type of catastrophe and the other gets to act high and mighty. If Hillary had won, maybe the situation is reversed. But it is what it is amigos.

Oh, I'm not some legal eagle that believes everything has to be on the total up and up. I know they all do things to benefit themselves.. But In truth, I barely know about those scandals. I heard about them at the time, but didn't hear anything that made me worry Obama or Clinton were actually compromised to such a point that they may be forced to put a potential enemy's interests ahead of those of the USA. But if this factually happened and isn't just conjecture (as the Trump/Russia story will seemingly turn out to be), then I'd be against Obama or Clinton as well and would want them removed from power and/or locked up possibly. But it just never got that far apparently.
