I just read how he left Comedy Central because of his family. I always thought it was Mya Angelu who convinced him to quit because he was hurting black people.

I was unsure about how it was gonna be since he's been gone for so long but I enjoyed the first one. Gonna watch the second one in a little bit. Isn't he supposed to make 3 of them?

Yea I checked and he is going to release 3 of them. The first two were already recorded and he has yet to film the third one. Speaking of which, people who saw the specials are apparently upset because of how "homophobic and transphobic" he was during the show. Didn't seem bad to me but you know people nowadays. They piss and moan over the smallest things. It's like they don't remember all the different sketches he did during his show such as the gay America and the story of Clayton Bigsby. If he released that today people would flip sh1t

In snowflake world, if you mention any race (non-white), gender (non-male), Islam, and you aren't praising it, then you are phobic.

 

Chapelle's genius is/was his ability to find the absolute middle ground on just about anything, enough to make both sides a bit uncomfortable.
