stonewall 647 Posted September 12, 2016 I will start things off with Dwayne Allen. Had a good game in a shootout, but the other TE Doyle (dude is 6' 6") played just as well, got just as many targets, and scored 2 TD's. Allen needs TD's to be a low-end TE1. With Doyle coming outta nowhere to play the Fleener role, he is gonna bleed Allen dry, I am afraid. Might be a good time to move Willie Sneed too. Also in a shootout, he was fantastic (9/9/172/1), and is worthy of a weekly start.....but was way beyond his normal weekly production, and his value may never be higher. Cooks will be a weekly stud, with a guessing game each week between Sneed, Thomas, Fleenor, etc. Who else you got?
joeshushu 51 Posted September 12, 2016 Yea I have Allen and was watching the game stats on line and was wondering who the hell is Doyle? My other TE is Graham though so whom can I get for Allen? TE are deep this year.

unclemercy 51 Posted September 12, 2016 im high on snead. did he drop a pass? i dont think he did. brees loves bros that grab his balls. pause. im more interested in a buy low thread.
giraldi02 470 Posted September 12, 2016 Brees loves Snead. Getting rid of him is a mistake.
unclemercy 51 Posted September 12, 2016 can prob steal on owners with accidents like keenan or even downers from ap like fall offs for the likes of fitz or maybe even theo riddick imo.
BuschWack 56 Posted September 12, 2016 Danny Woodhead. Had him last year and although a game like today was very possible... Other weeks Rivers seemingly ignored him. Like anything, you gotta weigh what you're being offered in return... But if the replacement offers the upside of consistency week to week. Do it.
brotherbock 349 Posted September 12, 2016 I'm not selling Allen after a TD and a 2pt, not until I see more consistency from Doyle. Week One Studs who come from nowhere are often enough not heard from again. If Doyle shows up in week 2, it's a different story.

Like anything, you gotta weigh what you're being offered in return... But if the replacement offers the upside of consistency week to week. Do it. Woodhead was excellent last year, even in non PPR. With Allen out, I'm definitely holding now. Selling after this week won't be a sell high, it'll be a sell right about where he'll be at each week.
BuschWack 56 Posted September 12, 2016 In standard scoring last year, through weeks 11, 12, 13 and 14, Woodhead scored a combined total of 6 points. 6 POINTS. That's not excellent in my opinion... and PPR wasn't much better.

I see much the same coming this year. I'm not looking to part ways after one week, but more power to you if you are. He wasn't one of the absolute stars this week, so I still say it's not selling high.

Snead is a player that Brees trust he's a keeper.
weepaws 2,452 Posted September 12, 2016 I would agree about Woodhead , with out Allen is stock especially in ppr is even higher then before today.

oldtimer 84 Posted September 12, 2016 Being week one, settle down on how good / bad players are. lol Several players didn't get in any preseason work, or very little, so they didn't look too hot yesterday. Buying after week one is never a good idea, in my opinion. Selling is always good though. Someone will project Gronk like numbers for Doyle and there will be the one person in your league who wants him. Sell to that guy.
Hawkeye21 1,848 Posted September 12, 2016 I think either Abdullah or Riddick may be good candidates for selling high right now. I just happen to have both too. Sterling Shepard could be a sell high guy.
Cuse9 128 Posted September 12, 2016 Abdullah is the sell high candidate. He had a great game, but mainly because Riddick left for most of third quarter and some of fourth. If Riddick wouldn't have got hurt Abdullah's stats would have been below average. He benefitted from no Theo. Theo is the back to have in this offense. I was extremely high on Allen going into the season. No more Fleener, Allen signs big contract. It's Allen's time to shine!! Then Dingledouche Doyle comes in and steals the show!! I know it's only one week, but now I don't know what to think!!

I have Riddick in a full PPR and love him as a good fill in back or flex play. Hell he caught 80 balls last year, gets some goal line work and if Abdulah goes down he is golden. rallo 132 Posted September 12, 2016 Sell high Melvin Gordon Spencer Ware Mike Wallace Buy low Jarvis Landry Tyrell prior John Brown
Joey Gladstone 33 Posted September 12, 2016 Landry looked good. He was close to breaking a tackle that would have netted him a TD. Tannehill is not a good quarterback and Seattle was knocking him all around the field.
BTL99 34 Posted September 12, 2016 Buy low Tyrell prior Never even heard of him

I know it's only one week, but now I don't know what to think!! i disagree on your abdullah take.....this is a fast paced offense thats going to run alot of plays....i think theres going to be enough for both to do ok/well.....i dont think abdullah is gonna be phased out by any stretch....riddick is a player though no question...hes prob more cerebral than abdullah... if you can really get something good in a deal with abduallah in it...im for it....at the same time i dont think hes going to just disappear ....detroit has a pretty favorable schedule for the run too in my estimation
Kent 228 Posted September 12, 2016 I'm gonna try to trade Gordon. I don't think they want to run. Don't know why they drafted him.
