Neither would I. The owner I targeted though is a huge Ravens homer and I'm hoping Moss' name is still worth something to him, as he doesn't really pay a whole lot of attention sometimes.
-
I just offered Jamal Lewis and Randy Moss for him. I don't know if he'll lead the league in TD's, but he'll definitely do well.
-
Ahh important game for me but I just couldn't eke out a win. Damn you Brooks Bollinger!! Next year... Speaking of next year... if anyone wants to unload an early draft pick... come talk to me we can work something out.
-
Brian Westbrook Nate Burleson Jason Witten All three are on the block. Make me an offer and we can talk.
-
I'm not sure how the order went, but I had him as my first waiver wire pick...
-
Ok so all I need is about 100 pts from Brooks and Witten? Merv, you better watch out, I got this one in the bag pal!
-
No problem at all... I don't mind dropping the one FA I picked up. Just let me know once its all cleared up.
-
Ahh I dunno... I think Steve Smith will be a top 5 receiver this year... and Jerry Porter won't even be close. But yes it was the #1 pick that swung it around for me.

They look great! Thanks a lot.

It's official. I'm pumped. I'm finished all my drafts except for one, and am relatively happy with my teams. I'm just ready for the season to get started! As for this league, I'm a little bit concerned about my quarterback situation, but I knew it was a little shaky when the draft was complete... so we'll just have to see how it goes.
-
Oh you have no idea how much I'm looking forward to the start of football season. I can TASTE it!
-
I don't think we will have many trades. Too many of you guys have hard ons for your whole team Hah! So true.
-
Now all the trade talk starts.

I don't have any 3 I would neccesarily label as the 'face of the franchise', but here is how I see it. 1. Priest - He'll leave on top. One more huge year. 2. Tatum Bell - He'll secure the starting job in Denver. Slow-as-molasses Clarret won't stand a chance. 3. Nate Burleson - The kid makes plays. And with Culpepper throwing him the ball, he'll put up points. Just missing the top 3 are: 4. Eric Shelton - A perfect fit for the Carolina offense, he'll see the field this year. 5. Jason Witten - Bledsoe as a Cowboy means good things. All in all, I'm happy with how my first dynasty draft went. I don't think I have the best team, at least on paper, but I'll be competitive, and I've got a lot of young talent that could really pay off in the future. We'll see!
