ICEMAN 38 Posted March 20, 2017 Carl "Slim" Pickens was a 3 year flash in the pan of greatness for the Cincinnati Bengals from 1994-1996. Knowing me, I had him on my team in 1996 and then drafted him again in 1997 when the bottom fell out of his productive years. After 1996, he never scored more than 6 TDs in a season. 1994 - 71 receptions, 1,147 yards & 11 TD's 1995 - 99 receptions, 1,234 yards & 17 TD's 1996 - 100 receptions, 1,180 yards & 12 TD's Carl was greatly aided in these years by a young quarterback that was inserted into the starting lineup starting in week 9, Jeff Blake (AKA "Shake n' Blake") who threw one of the prettiest deep balls that I have ever seen.
