BeeefyTaco 0 Posted August 11, 2006 Doing a 10-team keeper league and I have the 8th pick. Like everyone else, I would normally go with a RB-RB, but in this league we're starting 3 WRs. Was thinking Rudi or Ronnie with the 8th pick, then with the 2nd round go with a stud WR like TO or CJ since we start 3 WRs? Please give any insight! Will respond to all other posts. Thanks for the help and opinions, it's greatly appreciation!

I would consider Fitz or CJ with your 2nd pick.
aggiewildlife 0 Posted August 11, 2006 I agree, get a WR. I'm in a 10 team league and I think I drafted poorly because I'm so hardwired to getting RB's when available (usually play in 12 team leagues) that I went RB-RB-RB before going after WR's. We start 3 WR's and only 2 RB's, so I wish I had grabbed a WR at 2 or 3. However, you might seriously consider going RB-RB-WR-WR-WR. It's a keeper league though, so there might not be any good ones left. Go for a WR in round 2. Good luck! Please see mine, thanks.
alecoholics 0 Posted August 11, 2006 I myself am in the same dilema as you, I think I am going to go RB, WR, unless someone slips to the 2nd round in the RB category.
brees6221 0 Posted August 11, 2006 I'd definitely take one of each. After your second pick (13th overall), you have to wait until the 28th pick. Think about what might be left at each position if you double up on one or the other with your first two picks. Also, if you've been in the league with the same guys for several years, factor in how they draft. Is there always that one guy who takes the top QB early? Things like that can totally change an otherwise normal draft. Good luck.
