Ok, let me lay out the situation and I'll take any advice I can get. I've had LT for the last 5 seasons of a protect one player each year league (simple scoring format, etc.) Needless to say he's made me a ton of $$$, but I believe in the "buy low, sell high" philosiphy as much as the next guy.
I see a scnerio in my league wher I can trade LT (my protected) for Ronnie Brown (his dude) and then move up to his slot in the 2nd round (he picks 2nd, me 14th the first round is who you declare your protacting and then it snakes for the rest of the draft). I then would still keep the #1 pick in round 3.
The way I see it, this leaves me a decent shot at getting
Ronnie Brown &
Caddy or Stephen Jackson
for
LT &
anyones guess, but probably Chester Taylor, J Addai, or D. Foster
Then I probably will snag in round #3 a Torry Holt or Chad Johnson
Sooooo. . . is the LT trade worth it given the above scenario, or should I count my blessing and be satisfied with LT, a viable RB2 with upside, and a Top 3 WR???
Thanks for the advice!
