How much would you pay for a Big Burrito?

Recommended Posts

$5 is pretty much my limit for a decent sized burrito from a Messican joint that doesn't seem gross.

I love burrito's, but my Wife bought me one tonight and it was good, but not $8 good.

Seriously, it was big and contained ground beef (skimpy) lettuce, onions, salsa, guacamole, re fried beans and rice. But at that price I would expect it to contain a small steak or a half of chicken.

Used to be 5-6, those days are al last gone. Now it's 6-8 usually for a good burrito and they get you with things like not including cheese.

Depends.

Most places I go $8-10 is the max. And if a burrito runs that much, I'm probably just ordering something else like a taco plate.

The only exception is the rare occasion I make it down to Isla Vista. Freebirds' burritos are ridiculously good. I think it runs like $15 or so now though

At most places guac will run you $1.50-$2 extra, so basically it was a $6 burrito + guac.

Apparently 8 dollars, I ate at Bullritos today for the first time in 4 years today(and second time ever). Seemed kind of bland and overrated.

The best ones are from hole in the wall joints for like 5 bucks.

Amigo's tacos. Rosecrans blvd and Hawthorne blvd

Carne asada burrito con queso con todo.

They stuff that thing full of steak. Add a little onions, a little cilantro. Generous with the cheese. Weighs about a pound and a half. And they throw in the carrots soaked in jalapeño juice.

I go to LA about once per month; stay at an Embassy Suites at Imperial and Sepulveda, just a few miles from there. I'll definitely put it on my lunch list.

Pay $12 for a burrito in Key West but it is a real good fish burrito. Think fish tacos but in a burrito. It is awesome!

Thanks. I love Main Street in general.

Also did you ever tell me where you work? I feel like you maybe did and I forgot. Anyway, if you are interested, you are probably a customer of mine so I could expense a night of burritos and cocaine.

Not much for burritos, but the 1 thing I do love at Taco Hell is the Chili Cheese burrito - damn it's good. And only about $2 I think.
