So continuing the facebook saga...i have a question

Remember i found a 3 of my serious girlfriends from the past in facebook.

My facebook account is not my real name. I am now 50 + years old now and still have some fond memories of them from time to time... either a song plays or some other thing triggers a memory. I was debating sending them a message saying something along the lines of we knew each other in the past a long time ago and was curious how their future turned out, so i found them on facebook and decided to tell them that they have had a positive impact on my life and i still to this day think fondly of them and am blessed to have known them. Or something along those lines. Something nice and respectful. They wouldnt recognize the name... nor would I identify myself unless they asked. Just a kind message out of the blue kind of thing.

 

Im not trying to get laid or wreck a marriage... they were just great girls and I want them to know that out there in the world is someone who thinks about them and has a laugh or a smile about them.

 

Dunno if I should do it. None of the relationships ended poorly... two broke up with me... one I ended myself.
