vuduchile 1,941 Posted November 12, 2017 Is Garrett ever gonna move someone over to help protect his left side? How many times does he have to see something before he makes and adjustment?
tanatastic 2,061 Posted November 12, 2017 Hes not as valuable without Zeke. Matchup based streamer status imo now.
Challenger 72 Posted November 12, 2017 I am going to take a big guess that it has to do with missing a star running back.
Gepetto 985 Posted November 13, 2017 No, this is happening because Tyron Smith is out and the replacements Dallas has used at Left Tackle have been giving up sacks and letting Dak get hit all day long, and just got a sack/fumble.
vuduchile 1,941 Posted November 13, 2017 I am going to take a big guess that it has to do with missing a star running back. Nope. Alf looked great in Dallas' only possession of the 3rd quarter. He was ripping off runs of 10 yds a clip like an all pro. The drive stalled when Dak was sacked (again) from the left side.

Truth. Backup LT is a turnstile.
Oriole8159 86 Posted November 13, 2017 I have to drop one of Morris or Rod Smith to pick up a kicker, and I didn't watch the game today...who's the better drop?

weepaws 2,459 Posted November 13, 2017 Wow did they ever miss The Zeke today. N No doubt his hard nose running would have slowed down that pass rush. Interesting too just how much they miss him in the next five games, if h indeed misses more time.

Go back and take a look at that 3rd qtr drive. They missed Tyron Smith way more than they missed Zeke. You'd think after Clayborn's 3rd sack, they'd give those guys some help on that side. But no. They insisted on leaving Green, and later Bell out there alone. This is on Garrett. Go 2 TE, slide a FB over or even go max protect to give Dak some time. How he and the coaching staff didn't prepare for life without Smith is beyond me.
tanatastic 2,061 Posted November 13, 2017 Sarcasm right?? Hope soNo, why? Oline trouble plus no Zeke and they get blown out. Hes no longer a top tier option imo, its not much of a stretch.
Challenger 72 Posted November 13, 2017 I guess we will see in the next 5 games at how great your Alf is. There is a reason in DJ, Bell, Zeke, and then everyone else.

What happen vs the Falcons, oh yea The Zeke didn't play? Who else had success besides the Falcons def front?

The Falcons def front had no respect for the Cowboys run game without The Zeke. No it will continue if The Zeke does indeed miss more games. I'm sure they will have better games but they miss their best player on that football team.
seafoam1 1,879 Posted November 13, 2017 What happen vs the Falcons, oh yea The Zeke didn't play? Who else had success besides the Falcons def front? The Patriots did great yesterday on offense and elliott didn't play for them.
