    Draft Buddy 2019 - Projections Updated 9/4

My draft is on Monday morning. Any chance we'll get another update before the weekend is over to account for surprise cuts (McCoy) and trades (Stills)?

    Draft Buddy 2017 - Projections Updated 9/4

Hi Mike, Any idea on what time the update will be up tomorrow? My draft is at 10AM and I'm trying to figure out if I should do all of the latest cut-downs today manually. Thanks, Rob

Draft Buddy 2016 - Latest Projections Update: 9/6

Hi Mike, How often are the depth charts updated? For future buddyvversions, can you add an "updated as of" to that tab?

Draft Buddy 2016 - Latest Projections Update: 9/6

My league is a custom order every other round and Mike instructed me to handle just like this several years ago. It's really not time consuming at all. Just make sure you un-check the reset draft order button to make sure you don't have to do the entry more than once.

    Draft Buddy 2015 Version 1.2 - Projections Updated: 9/8

Hey Mike, Hope this post finds all well with you. I just did my latest update of projections for the Jordy injury and I noticed that the adjustments have not been made to the depth charts. I thought I should let you know. Thanks, Rob
  8. Hey Mike, Since this is the first year my league is using MFL to handle the draft, we held a mock draft a few weeks ago for everyone to get accustomed to the interface. During this mock, we were all just messing around - like I took Tim Tebow in the first round and someone took Ronnie Wingo (RB, ATL) in the 2nd round. I am not a big college football fan and had never heard of Ronnie Wingo - and it turns out that draft buddy doesn't know him either. With a deep league (16 teams X 20 roster spots) and some odd owner decisions, I've run into instances where a player is drafted but not in draft buddy (not often, but it happens). In the past, I've simply entered the data manually - no big deal. With the MFL integration, every time I refresh the the live draft results, it will undo these manual changes because it's literally writing over the cells with the latest content, correct? Assuming I'm correct, is the best way to mitigate this to make side notes and make the manual changes at the end of the draft? Don't get me wrong - the draft buddy database is about as deep as any person should expect. I'm just trying to plan for the unexpected. Thanks, as always, for all you do to support this awesome product! Rob
  9. Hey Mac, Thanks for the new MFL Integration - this is a HUGE update for me since my league is going to be doing the draft through MFL this year after YEARS of hosting it though an AOLIM chat room (welcome to 2013!). I'm pretty sure, from watching the video, that Draft Buddy is only pulling the draft picks (position and player) from the MFL site - meaning I will still need to manually enter our "random draft order in each of the first 10 rounds" manually through the draft report tab. Can you please let me know if there is any way to extend this integration to have it pull the team name into the import, thus allowing me to avoid manually entering 160 (16 teams X 10 rounds) custom draft order spots? Thanks again for this huge update and for continuously putting out an amazing product each and every year! Rob

    Adjust rankings

Hey Mike, I think I'm just going to just re-rank after tomorrow's update and live with it. Not the worst thing in the world given all the heavy lifting the cheat sheets already do for me. Thanks for the suggestion/option. Thanks for also answering a question without me ever asking it. I was wondering if adding a blank sheet would affect anything in the workbook. As for my prior email, sorry that I forgot to email you back. As you expected, I must have been doing SOMETHING weird/wrong because when i went back and re-entered all of my adjustment information and changed the formulas, I no longer had any problems. Perhaps I never saved the version I added the formulas to?!?!?! Anyway, thanks, as always for all of your assistance.

    Adjust rankings

Hey Mike, Is there any way to change it so the function of the compile cheetsheets button so it only does so for the overall tab and leaves the offense tab rankings alone? I'd like to see the new point values, but I want to keep my re-rank changes. I obviously want the most up-to-date projections, my re-ranking tweaks again may take some time. Any suggestions on how to avoid the duplicate work or just suck it up? Thanks, Rob

    Manual depth chart changes

OK, so that can't be easier. I'll just have to make sure I do all of my changes on the PC and then set everything up before I send the Buddy over to the Mac. Thanks Mike!!!

    Manual depth chart changes

Hey Mike, Is there an easy way to make a change to the depth charts without waiting for an update from you? For example, how can I get Kareem Huggins onto the depth chart and remove Derrick Ward? I'm not so worried about this specific scenario, but I might make some judgement calls on some WR battles and would like those reflected in the depth charts. thanks in advance for the help and sorry for being such a pain. :-) rob

    Draft Buddy on a macbook

Does it make sense to save the Draft Buddy file to an older excel version before I send it to the mac?

    Draft Buddy on a macbook

Hey Mike, I set up Draft Buddy for my draft on Monday using my Windows computer at my office. I emailed the workbook home and just opened it on the Mac and found a pretty scary Excel message waiting for me. "This workbook contains content that could not be converted because it is not supported in this version of Excel. Some data from the workbook may be missing because of the following issues: Data beyond 65,536 rows by 254 (IV) columns. To view the unsupported content in the file, open the original workbook in Excel 2008." So, the obvious question is - is there data beyond those rows that's going to cause any problems for me on draft day? The league size is 16 teams X 20 roster spots if that is a factor. Is this something that I can get around by saving it as an earlier version of excel on the PC before I transfer to the Mac? Thanks, as always, for your help with this stuff! Rob
