I think he showed some potential in preseason. He converted from receiver in college so he can probably catch pretty decent. Plus he is a bigger back which is always nice to see when someone is getting a chance. Wether he can adjust to NFL speed is to be seen. I do like how some RB's are automatic when people assume they can adjust right away to NFL speed with zero issue ie Zeke and Gordon as rookies. Then when a no name rookie comes along the legit rookie concerns are brought up.

I saw an article (don't recall where) about Zenner and some of his comparables with other RB's and how he was sort of a super sleeper, but it seems like they're much more enamored with Washington.

I like him. If Ameer is hurt worse than a sprain he could get most the carries and all the goal line work for some time.

Personally, I need RB help and my choices suck.

Asiata

Drake

Washington

.5 PPR league so eff Asiata.

Drake is probably the guy but Washington could have more upside

Being PPR definitely has it between Drake and Washington. I'm not a PPR guy so go with your gut.

I think he's a get. I thought AA was out as of yesterday but it takes some time to process how things will shake out. The upside on Washington might make a risky add/drop worth it.

should have the opportunity, but he is an extremely upright runner... i worry about him getting it done between the tackles... and with that running style he is an injury waiting to happen. That said I picked him up, just in case

I think when people say every single rb who is over 6' tall runs too upright, they are just seeing a tall rb. Not saying that some dont, but it seriously seems like every tall rb gets this criticism, and rarely do we hear it about 510 or shorter guys.

i would tend to agree with your sentiment, but he is almost an extreme example... nearly standing straight up... I'm nitpicking though, i'm sure he'll be find

I claimed him pretty much everywhere last night, so now I feel like a genius. Interested to see if he can really crack double digit carries weekly.

He looks very fast for a big guy.

He certainly can break away, I thought he had a KR and a 50ish yard TD runt his preseason... plus, converted WR... he has to be able to catch.. right?

That video makes him look more like a WR than a RB. Either way, happy to have scooped him up this morning after he cleared waivers and before news of AA being sent to IR!

Wow!

Could be a 3 down back. Very fast!!

He is fast, he is big, and he can catch. As long as he holds on to the ball, he could be.

But I doubt he steals Riddick's job too.

I know that people will call this ludicrous and that a players outcome is based off of where they fell in the fantasy draft but....

After the preseason this kid reminded me of David Johnson. Many of you with short memories know DJ as a stud rb. He was a converted WR coming out of the Missouri Valley Conference. People were saying he ran too upright and avoided contact in college. Didn't play up to his size. At this time last year DJ was behind Ellington and CJ2k.

This stuff happens. Riddick has never been able to run between the tackles. I had to drop Deon Lewis for him but it is worth a shot.

When was he converted? Didn't he play RB all through college? If he was a WR just in HS I don't think that's too big of a deal. (Although I grabbed him because I do think he looks good :))

I like that comparison a lot... the only problem is that he is on the lions... DJ got the perfect scenario with an offense that was already clicking and made guys like CJ0K and Ellington look viable

Lions have been clicking since they got the Cooter.

I've gotta decide how much of my FAAB budget to blow on this guy. Thinking I might go half or more. Speculative but he could be The Guy this year as far as waiver wire adds

Not last week though.

The Lions killed themselves last week with penalties and retarded coaching decisions. They also lost a TD to a phantom offensive PI call (Ebron apparently used a Jedi mind trick on the defender to make him overrun the play).

Ebron's a Jedi?! Time to go see about a trade.

I think the Lions offense is pretty desirable to have a piece of. The Lion had 17 penalties in the last game, yet they still had 137 yards rushing, 6.0 ypc and Washington had a 28 yarder. I think this last game might keep things tamped down a little bit, which is fine with me but this is an offense to own in in 2016 IMO.

Hey, you post smart things here, so that makes me feel better about grabbing Wash this morning. :) I missed out on Howard in CHI, but I'm happy with my decision at the moment.

I like Washington (nabbed him for depth in one league...have Riddick in another PPR league).

Good stash to have...wouldn't necessarily try and count on him this week.

GB has been stingy on Run D. That could change a bit if they adjust to being beat through the air like they have. But I think they will continue to take away the run game like they have. Watch the Dline injuries for them this week though.
