It was not immediately known if Halladay was flying the plane. Halladay's ICON A5 light sport aircraft crashed into the Gulf 10 miles west of St. Petersburg at about 1 p.m., the Pasco County Sheriff's Office said. A viewer sent in video of the wreckage, of which the tail number of the crashed plane matched photos and videos of the aircraft posted on Halladay's Twitter account

ZeroTolerance 582 Posted November 7, 2017 damn, one of the dudes in my original fantasy baseball league was best friends with Cory Liddle. Brings back the memory Roy was one of my favorite pitchers ever Weird moment. I was at Game 4 of the ALDS when Corey Lidle made his final appearance (two days before his death). Sitting two rows in front of me was a Yankee fan with a Thurman Munson jersey on.

edjr 5,546 Posted November 8, 2017 How many kids did he leave behind ? Ages ? Sad. Selfish fock, that's all that can be said. Just like JFK Jr. Rich and famous and allowed to fly before being ready. His wife didn't want him flying, but he did anyway. left her and their 2 kids (boys) behind. Jesus Chrysler 29 Posted November 8, 2017 So it's come out that Halladay was showboating moments before the crash. lowering his plane just feet above water and then pulling it back up into the air again. I saw a video taken from a boat where the passenger is saying 'what the fock' as he plunges down and then pulls it back up. Guess he dipped a touch too low and his nose his the water. Dumb ass fock. The plane he was in is called "Jet Ski with Wings" It's supposed to be able to bounce off water. Not surprised that an amateur pilot would fock it up and die. edjr 5,546 Posted November 8, 2017 i don't really disagree but you know this? plane had no issues? and that makes him a terrible person? being a terrible person <> being a wonderful person. more than one witness said he was showboating. he's dead at 40, left behind 2 sons and a wife. Doesn't make him a terrible person, but sorta takes away the great person moniker.
