12-Team 1/2 PPR - Forfeit 8th Round Pick To Keep J. Winston?

I have a draft tonight in a ... kind of Keeper league. The rule is we can keep any player drafted Round 8 or later by forfeiting our pick in the same round this year.

 

The only late round pick I had last year that's really worth consideration is Jameis and I'm a little on the fence about him. I know FFToday here has him as the 4th ranked QB but I'm not quite that bullish on him. I'm personally more in line with the majority of other sites who have him in the 7-10 range. With that said, I'm a firm follower of drafting QBs late and 7-10 is where I'll most likely look for my starting QB anyway and 8 is pretty much spot on where his ADP seems to fall in 12-team leagues.

 

That said, if I do use my 8 to keep him then that's my starting QB heading into the season because I certainly won't draft one before then unless something crazy unfolds and I've got someone like Brees or Ryan sitting in my lap in rounds 6 or 7.

Anyone have any thoughts on this?

I would without question keep him.
