Quick trade help please

I need to shore up my RBs. the other owner needs a QB after losing mcnabb.

 

I get: steven jackson and jamarcus russell

for

matt ryan and willie parker

 

I've had jackson in past years and have vowed not to take him again but this seems to be a pretty good offer.

I am a S Jax owner let me say that up front...BUT...Russell sucks bad! Ryan is an up and comer and FWP is still a good option. Stand pat.

Tough to say not knowing the rest of your team, but I say don't do it. Russel is just way too raw and will kill you whenever you play him. He is too inaccurate, and his line is not got and he will take sacks, which means fumbles. His WRs don't help either.

 

He looked decent at times Monday, but the fact is that without that 57-yd TD in the 4th quarter, he'd have under 200 yards, 2 pics and no TDs.

 

I'd stay put. You give away too much at QB compared to what you gain at RB.

i'd take jackson...& maybe grap a diff qb leftwich is even better than russell...hang on to a leinart or another promising qb

That's a great deal right there. Willie Parker probably won't finish the season healthy and has some tough matchups. Play the waiver wire until McNabb comes back healthy and you should be set for a strong year.

I don't like Russell much, but SJAX is a HUGE UPGRADE from Willie Parker...I hesitantly say take this trade.
