footballchaos 0 Posted September 16, 2007 Hey Steve, you have yet to gain as many yards or TD this season as you have in your TV commercial. How about you stop talking about getting 2,000 yards this season and actually start doing it.
DumpTruck 0 Posted September 16, 2007 I'd be happy if he even hit 100 yards rushing.....what a waste of a 2nd pick so far I should have started Derrick Ward over him in my PPR league.
Pimptaddy 0 Posted September 16, 2007 Steven Jackson wants you all to know it is not going to be alright.
STLRamsFan23 0 Posted September 16, 2007 I'd be happy if he even hit 100 yards rushing.....what a waste of a 2nd pick so far I should have started Derrick Ward over him in my PPR league. Jackson was just going at it with the Rams coaching staff for not being involved in those last 2 plays (3rd and 4th down) for what that is worth...hopefully they can get the ball back and maybe move the ball downfield real quick with jackson. nategraduates 0 Posted September 16, 2007 He isn't doing that bad yards wise, he is going to end up with 96 total yards. 9.6 pts isn't what you want from him, but that is a step up from his performance last week. 49ers run defense is stout, the Rams threw the ball a lot today because of it. Steven Jackson has some cup cake defenses coming up, he will be back.
ffsmack 0 Posted September 16, 2007 IIRC he took a few games to hit the end zone last year too. I'm not too bummed about my #2 pick yet, he's gotten decent yards today counting his receptions.

NAn 39 Posted September 16, 2007 Yes, just 2 games and early to 'panic, but at this pt definitely 'concerned'. 1. I watched the game off and on and though SF run d, yes much improved, but much had to do with poor play by patchwork OL. 2. Over 2 games you're looking a a like a 3.4 ypc...not good. 3. Bulger got beat up today...if OL continues to struggle could see a qb who has injury history miss time...not good for the offense overall. 4. I'd be curious to see over the 2 games, the efficiency...or should say LACK OF efficiency...in the RZ as they were not very good today...off top of my head I'd say 1TD in 4-5 trips...again, not good. popaj 0 Posted September 16, 2007 offensive line is to blame. Too banged up.
ric0 20 Posted September 17, 2007 for the SJax owners, at what point would you start entertaining trades? if so, what kind of value have you received? unlike, the LJ owners, they still have home games coming up.
edjr 5,444 Posted September 17, 2007 I don't see why this is so shocking. Seriously. 2nd pick was the worst pick to have this year. 8th pick was much better. Going into the draft there were easily 6 to 8 backs that could have easily had a better year.
ianmidd 3 Posted September 17, 2007 Warrick Dunn would have been a better starter for me this week....
E-Knuckle Shuffle 0 Posted September 17, 2007 I am definately concerned. I am 2-2 right now (we play double headers), but I am 4th in the league in points. Sjax needs to pick it up if I'm gonna make a run at the championship. Lamont has been my workhorse so far. Atleast I'm not 0-4.
MrLJH 0 Posted September 17, 2007 Look at my RB corps SJax...yikes Caddy...did'nt start this week RBrown...double yikes Jacobs...ouch Norwood...ugh Hanging on to- KJones...maybe AP(chi)...? 2-0 thanks to stellar QB/WR/DST play...hope some of my guys shape up in a hurry
NewbieJr 540 Posted September 17, 2007 Look at the bright side, all three of the 'can't miss' guys have sucked so far. (LT gave his owners a decent week 1, but make no mistake, he sucked that game). LJ has been horrible. SJax looks like he'll be lucky to get 1250 total yards, let alone the 2500 he was promising, and LT looks like the second best back on his team. I can't imagine all three staying this bad. The worst thing you could do is trade them now. Their stock has never been lower.
Zackattack 0 Posted September 17, 2007 I don't think we need to panic yet either. It is early and things always change. Thank god I have Lamonth Jordan on my squad too.
