makindollaz 39 Posted September 30, 2018 I've been sitting on Cohen in both pay leagues, hoping this would happen. Started him in one of the leagues today because of C.Thompson's bye.

weepaws 2,418 Posted September 30, 2018 The Qb play today might just be the thing that helps him going forward.
ralphster 274 Posted October 1, 2018 I watched the whole game yesterday. Was perplexing watching Howard get so few touches, and the ones he did get were mostly between the tackles. Â I don't know if it was a game plan by Nagy or what, but Howard should've been in the entire 2nd half salting away the win. No injury news that I have seen either. tanatastic 2,061 Posted October 1, 2018 I read a great take on this situation that it was all about the gameplan and not to worry. Buccs have been shredded by quick receiving RBs and they clearly gameplanned around this.
SexyRexy 60 Posted October 1, 2018 I wouldnt look too much into it. It was a clear spot for Tarik with the matchup. Jordan Howard is the guy and off the bye Tarik returns to his role.
jrokh 567 Posted October 1, 2018 I'm just hoping that when the weather gets cold, Nagy will appreciate Howard properly.
Brutal Brutus 182 Posted October 1, 2018 We've seen this before from Howard and Cohen. I wouldn't panic with Howard just yet. He isn't an elite RB1 and is going to have the ups and downs that come with the RB position these days. Cohen is going to have his games, but I'd still rather have Howard at this point. Canadianfan 76 Posted October 1, 2018 heard a lot of great things about him in this forum and drafted him because of it. It Looks like he's running in quick sand. Big bruising backs like this are the thing of the past. Bears scored almost 50 points without him. I see zero reason for them using him again like they did in the past. He's a bust and worthless in trades....let's move on

LaChup 154 Posted October 2, 2018 I hope he doesn't have a Nagy injury. They always take time to heal.
BTL99 34 Posted October 2, 2018 Cohen will have these games here and there but overall Howard is still definitely 100% the guy relax lol.

I disagree that the Bears need to salt away a win. Offenses are too potent, and defenses are too vulnerable to flags. It used to be hard for a team to areal assault come back because their qb was going to take some serious shots. Now, all it takes are a few penalties that aren't even panalties to change a game. Keep your foot on the gas pedal and score like you're in a close game. Â Look at the deveststing loss the Chiefs had last year to Tenn in the playoffs trying to salt away a win. Keep your foot on the gas pedal and score like you're in a close game. Â Look at the deveststing loss the Chiefs had last year to Tenn in the playoffs trying to salt away a win. Â Maybe, and it's worth noting that 8 of Howard's 11 touches came in the 2nd half, but 11 rushes in any game is paltry for a lead back, even in today's NFL, and that kind of usage warrants the concern of owners who drafted him to be an RB2, even. Â The only real upside I see to his ROW outlook is the fact that the Bears offense seems to be improving, which might yield more scoring opportunities, and there are some soft run defenses on the schedule. Skinny_Bastard 154 Posted October 2, 2018 3.15 yards per carry against bottom of the league in rushing defense. Â I would worry. This isn't the same John Fox offense anymore.

bgard72 10 Posted October 2, 2018 Nagy might be realizing that Cohen is the guy to get the ball to more. He's running the ball with a better (5.1 avg vs 3.2) and has a better receiving average too (12.1 vs 7.8). I think if Nagy's smart, Cohen should keep getting the ball more.
