Gonna be weird seeing 3 big 12 teams in the final 4 :ninja:

cmh was one roll away from going full Charles Barkley.

Exact reason why I didn't watch one second of the game.

Did that little b!tch from Duke try and trip anyone?

No, but he did miss a game winner, rolled around the rim and almost dropped, twice, and will live with that forever.

Man that was fun. Wasn't expecting to have a party but a friend came over, then father-in-law, sister-in-law and she brought two friends I only met one other time, then my mom and step-dad came over. Had chili and the beverages were flowing...

i kept thinking things were happening to kill the MOJO and cause us to lose. Two people I didn't know or expecting showing up usually spells doom. My mom had taken my daughter shopping and she doesn't care much about bball, and then they come in with about 2 mins to go in regulation when the game is on the line and I thought that's it we're losing now. But with all that the positive energy kept flowing and somehow we pulled it off.

Same time next week if any of you fools want to swing by, I have one of the best setups for the game experience. Except nzoner, no MU fans allowed

both ASU and Washington both looked pretty good to me. I'm not one to try and make excuses when your team gets beat, good teams have bad games, mediocre teams will have some really great games and teams which shouldn't lose to other teams will at times do just that. Kansas is really struggling with depth and is especially short in the frontcourt. They have three transfers on the bench who aren't eligible till next year (Dedric Lawson, Charlie Moore & K.J. Lawson). Silvio de Sousa is a 6'9", 245 lb Freshman and has been cleared to practice and joined the team December 26 as he had to complete coursework to graduate HS early. And Billy Preston, a 6'10", 240 lb Freshman still hasn't been cleared after wrecking a car and having questions surrounding the financing of the vehicle. Who knows what will happen with that situation. As it turns out, KU added a third string tight end from the football team just to practice with the guys.

If everything falls into place now as it should, KU is the team to beat in the conference and is setup for a strong tournament run once again.

Try not to suck your own cack too hard.

Sorry but it's not some great prediction when you guys have McDonald's all Americans that you will contend for a conference title and make deep tourney runs.

Although my KU hate runs deep I'll say congrats on making the FF.

Now my storybook ending would be for them to face Loyola in the NC,lose and add that to their resume of Bucknell,Bradley,N Iowa,VCU.......

That said I'm afraid I'm doomed as mrs nzoner(36C) had me place a futures bet in Vegas for KU to win it all and she's been hitting those regularly the last few years with the Royals and Jimmie Johnson :(

Damn, tickets seem to be rather reasonable. Can find championship tickets for around $150 and $300 for all sessions. Too bad the drive is like 12 hours and it is easter weekend :(

You can find championship tickets for cheap after the Saturday games, losers looking to get out of town. I bought a ticket for $80, 20 rows from floor, from a fan of a losing team a few years ago. If you have a car full of friends willing to drive, or if your wife is cool as ###### and a big KU fan, then it would be worth considering.

12 hours down is nothing when you have that anticipation and 12 hours home after a win will float by.

If you have the money and kids/family are not a factor, I would drive down tomorrow (Friday). Final Four weekend is always a blast. The entire town is one big party, I imagine the River Walk will be like walking down the main drag in Lawrence. Concerts, fan events, practices, and the games. Especially with the teams this year. KU, Michigan, and Villanova travel well. And you have to imagine everyone who ever attended Loyola will be trying to get to San Antone.

Even if Monday is the only option, it may be worth going. Kansas would be a heavy favorite.

Loyola continues to surprise. I still think they are going to have their hands full in the 2nd hf.

Michigan has shot like sh*t four out of five games. They don't deserve a thing and Nova or Kansas would beat them senseless.

Kansas/Nova for the title, Monday is the victory lap.

Lucky Loyola started shitt*ng their pants for about five solid minutes. Michigan tried to use the Izzo "shoot threes and eventually they have to go in, right?" game plan.

Welp...it'll be the who gives a fock final Monday now... especially if Nova wins

The only way I can see it being competitive is if Kansas wins here and Michigan shocks everyone and has a second "once every couple months" shooting game. I think Nova beats Michigan even IF Michigan has their shot falling.

At least I know I won't have to stay up late on a work night Monday. Game should be over by halftime easy.

40-12...that is the standard for embarrassment in a national semifinal (Kansas on UNC 10 years ago). Nova isn't going to pull it off.

It'd be far better if it were Michigan State rather than Villanova playing against Michigan in finals, but oh well.

Michigan has a top 5 defense. Allow almost 10 points less a game than Kansas. While we will be 6-8 point dogs, I think the game will be closer than you think.

Nova is solid at defending the three-point line and Michigan is shooting like sh*t. The Wildcats will get their points, hard to see where Michigan will get theirs.

Agreed. Wagner wont be able to just stand under the basket and bully guys like he has so far in this tournament. Think this is going to be a snoozefest blowout.

Looks like a blowout on paper and Michigan had the easiest path to a finals ever.

Hopefully Michigan ignores all that and makes a game of it. I have my doubts.

Nova by double digits.
