Many years ago I dated a girl from NO and went down there w her 5-6 times over a few year period. Saw Rebirth Brass Band a few times and drank a lot of Abita. Think Good Will Hunting, this guy was the real Matt Damon before that character existed. Anyway, his nickname in Southie was "Bib," I don't recall why. We had a fully stocked bar and every once in a while he'd start making drinks we called "Ad Bibs", which seemed at the time like a clever play on "Ad Libs". He cheated his way through much of school, so luckily he ended up doing consulting to evaluate the safety of nuclear reactors in the Eastern Bloc.
