Another big factor here is the Eagles already overpaid not one but two chump qbs to play for them this year. So they pay two schleps, then mortgage their entire future to draft another. If they were like Denver and had no one commited to, I would completely understand the trade.

I think they should've originally let Bradford walk and just trotted Daniels out there while grooming a young QB. The idea of letting a rookie QB redshirt for a year isn't that novel though.

 

I wouldn't have done the trade but if they're sold on Goff/Wentz having him learn from the bench for a year isn't a bad idea.
