Anyone else getting screwed by Yahoo tonight?

Managing our live online draft through Yahoo and it has gone t!ts up.

How do you mean? My draft starts in 30 minutes

We were all sitting around waiting to enter the draft room and the commish gets a message that there were technical errors and our draft had been changed to auto and the status to not ready. When he tried to reschedule for a later time it just keeps erroring out, even for times two weeks from now.

Ya it just screwed us too, it switched to auto and then bumped the draft 3 hours later.

 

It did this last Sunday too, that league redrafted on Tuesday night and everything worked out fine.

They must be running their site through the healthcare exchange or something.

Worked just fine doing the draft.

It got stuck for about an hour or two after still in draft mode before putting the rosters on the full site.

But all is well now.

I had one at 3 pm on sunday on yahoo and it was relatively fine. A few guys were kicked off momentarily, not sure if it was their isp or the site.

Ends up a lot of the drafts last night around 8 est got messed up due to technical issues at Yahoo. Ours ended up going at 9:15 with about 20 minutes advance notice. Had to scramble to get everyone back online but for the most part it worked out. Also had a lot of instances where it kept disconnecting guys during the draft. Not a big deal unless it was your turn. Once it disconnected you it went into auto pick. Lesson learned was keep your queue full just in case.

Yeah keep your que full. It shouldnt come down to this on the part of yahoo, but knowing their problems people should be prepared.

Thanks for the heads up. I have my last draft tonight on Yahoo and will definitely be keeping my que full.
