rondog2244 0 Posted August 22, 2006 Well guys first post of the year, just drafted on Saturday and I pulled Barlow out in the 12th round praying he would in turn get shipped to the Jets.....my prayers were answered and now I have a few owners in my running back hungry league drewling over my bench "starter". First, off I have received is Coles for Barlow straight up, I am not the biggest fan of Coles especially in the Jets offense but as you can see with my roster, my talent receiver is a tad thin should Mr. Branch (got him in the 8th round, coudnt pass it up) decide to hold out into the season, I'm in trouble. I think Barlow could be a servicable backup, but I personally I believe his value will only go on the decline when he steps on the field. So.....make the trade, hold out for a better offer down the road, keep Barlow for insurance? QB-Brady WR-Wayne WR-Mason WR-Branch RB-Caddy RB-Willis M. TE-Winslow FLEX-Foster Bench- Barlow Wilford Chris Henry Sammie Parker Deanglo Williams Thanks Guys, this is driving me nuts......leave a link and I will get to it in the morning..... Ray_T 587 Posted August 22, 2006 well, if you're thinking about doing the trade, but not keen on the receiver, I'd at least shop him around to see if you can get a better player for him. I picked him up on the waiver wire for free in my league. maybe your better option is to counter and offer barlow and one of your bench receivers for a higher end player. or you can see if anyone in the league values the guy you've been offered and work out a 3 way trade. I personally like the idea of doing the two for one. its the stud players that win the draft for you most of the time.
