Texansfan 0 Posted August 22, 2006 I am in the #2 draft position in my keeper league. Larry Johnson will be kept and unavailable, and the guy choosing #1 has said he will take Peyton Manning. This leaves me in the nice position of choosing between LT2 and SA. I have been offered the following trade. I give up my #2 pick, my #23 pick, and my #26 pick. In return I get the #6 pick, the #19 pick, and Steve Smith. So I'm giving up LT or Alexander, which will leave me with Portis, Edge, Tiki, or Jordan at #6. I improve my 2nd round position by 4 spots and get Steve Smith for my 3rd round pick basically. R.Brown, Caddy, and SJax have also been kept and unavailable. So RBs will be VERY thin in this draft. So it might be better to get 2 solid backs with #6 and #19 than just one stud back at #2. And then I get arguably the best WR as well. What do you guys think? Oh, and one more note. I have Willie Parker as one of my keepers. So he's at least my #2 RB already.
swanny 0 Posted August 22, 2006 I wouldn't do it.... this year the first three picks are like gold.... you would need to get much more in return to move from pick 2 to 6 in my opinion. It would have to be a very strong offer for me to move. He is not even offering additional picks (just swapping positions)... you should be acquiring 1 or 2 picks between rounds 2 to 5. Good luck. aauhoops33 0 Posted August 22, 2006 i wouldnt do it either, you are just swapping draft picks, but i think shaun alexandre or LT will be way too valuable to pass up on this year http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...=0#entry2611995
