Then Stewart makes a bunch of jokes about said montage whilst ignoring other clips and quotes that help clarify his stance and put in more proper context and totally ignores the actual issue of illegal immigration.

Pretty Close. Played the same soundbite over and over, even in slow motion. Disregarded other quotes trying to clarify a bit and ignored the actual issue at hand.

 

Trump is a blowhard, this isn't news, he says stuff bluntly and could use more tact. However, embedded in there..... he has a point. If people could not be so easily offended maybe the point could be heard. But you are right, that's not reality. The masses would rather talk about Trump than the actual issue. No hate at all. Just questions that don't ever seem to get answered. So I ask them.

 

Am I better off than eight years ago? No . Not even close. I was poised to sell my company and move on in my field. Katrina fawked that up. The state and Feds sealed that. When states bow down to the insurance companies and dictate how theyre run, you get state run insurance companies that run the show and push us little guys out. Independents got screwed here. Out of state companies decided it wasn't worth the risk, and they took their business elsewhere. Out of state. The main three insurance companies, or any others, do not write wind and hail policies anymore. Insurance premiums for homeowners and commercial property are insanely expensive.

 

I was one of the best insurance investigators and liability and accident scene adjusters. Katrina hit and I lost out a few years after. Have never recovered. Neither have any if my competitors in the state.

 

My wifey sells high end goods at a high retail store. She's making half of what she made before Obama. Her health insurance costs for our family have doubled in the past four years. Same policy. And double it. Her take home pay is significantly less than eight years ago. The new taxes area peach for both if us.

 

The only reason she still works for her company is our need for her insurance. We don't qualify for Obamacare. Why? We have enough money to spend on our daughters education in a private school. Which almost puts us in the poor house but putting her in the most fawked up public school system is not not an option and the government penalizes us for that. And Ipayfir for public school with my taxes and get penalized for doing so.

 

Am I angry? No. I'm aggravated. I work and my wife work our asses off and we seem to be stuck in crazy world. Make just enough to survive but not enough to get some help. Am Ibetter off than eight years ago? Not even close. And that's saying something.
