Playoff picture as we head into the final week doubleheader

Lost with all of the Gary drama is the fact that your Leader, Hero, Idol, Redeemer, Lord, and Savior....The Dynasty El Padrino .....must now embark on another journey which will lead to women, honor, riches, and glory. But I will not begin this journey from my normal position as the number 1 seed. This is a journey that will occur on paths usually traveled by commoners such as those beneath me. With that in mind, the playoff picture appears to be as follows.

 

Out:

- Kat Fancy (2-10, 1392 pts)

- The Ski Bums (3-9, 1034 pts)

- Dixons Dixoffs (4-8, 1344 pts)

- Professor Stats (5-7, 1277 pts)

- The oh so mismanaged Iron Fisted Dakota Skies (5-7, 1415 pts)

 

So it's 7 teams fighting for 6 spots.

 

In the Tourney:

- I Dipp My Ed (10-2, 1537 pts) with a bye

- Neckbeards (9-3, 1728 pts) fighting for 2nd bye

- Porn Docs (9-3, 1628 pts) fighting for 2nd bye

- Narcs (7-5, 1585 pts)

 

90% in the tourney:

- Your Dynasty El Padrino (7-5, 1502 pts). To knock me out, Mobb has to maintain his 13 pt lead on me while going 2-0 to my 0-2....AND The Kunts have to outscore me by 31 points.

 

Likely fighting for the last spot:

- The Paranoid Androids (5-7, 1515 pts)

- Kuntulus (6-6, 1472 points)

 

It's been a long time since I didn't just rest my players in week 13. This is invigorating. I feel so alive. I love you my dear subjects.

You might find this hard to believe, for a such a seemingly rudderless league; but we actually have a written set of rules. Not only that, it's pinned to this very board!!!! Crazy talk, right?!

1. The playoffs will occur weeks 14, 15 and 16 of the NFL season.

2. 6 teams will make the playoffs.

3 Divisional Winners.

2 Wild Card teams (best remaining record, with total points used for any seeding tie breaker).

1 Additional Wild Card team (most points scored - the highest scoring team remaining)

3. The two teams with the best record will be awarded a first round bye (total points used for any seeding tie breaker).

4. 3rd place will play 6th place and 4th place will play 5th place.

5. Playoff match-ups will reseed after the first round (1st place will play the lowest remaining seed).

I thought the #1 seed got to choose who they play in the semifinals?

 

Because it's a disadvantage being the #1 seed having to play the last seed (most points)

Part of the reason I'm not a big fan. I know a lot of.leagues use it but just like the nfl sometimes good teams just had records that didn't quite cut it.

I think I messed up my scenarios. Peaces can pass me in record...then Androids will likely beat me in points for the 6 spot.

• El Padrino (I secured win 8, which locks me in)

 

It's between the Kunts and Mobb for the final spot.

• For Kunts to get in: They need Mixon to outscore Pit Def by 15. That would give Kunts 2 wins, which would win the division. Then Narcs get the 6th seed on points over Mobb.
• For Mobb to get in: Needs Kunts to lose one of their games. Then Mobb gets in on points over Kunts.

Congrats to all the playoff teams. Frustrating year for ol kutulu in both my leagues... Cost myself many games by making last minute line up changes and as it turns out the playoffs in both leagues as well. See you focks at the draft.
