But if it was a white man saying something about Barack, he probably would have been shown the door...

Dude, it's ESPN.  They've gone full retard.

Just ignore them, I have, unless there is an actual ball game on I want to watch.  All the other non sense shows are awful.

ESPN must have decided to put people on the air who are not only untalented, but are complete whack jobs.  That sideline guy on Monday has a screw loose, and not a couple of twists either.

Just the past two weeks ESPN has

1.  Put out a public apology for holding a Fantasy Auction Draft....because some of the Athletes were African American

2.  Pulled a sports announcer, who was Asian (not that it even matters) off a football game because his name is Robert Lee.

They've gone full retard.  It's obvious the higher up's there have lost their minds and are putting "politics" over logic and what most people want from ESPN.....sports, not political commentary or slant.

Agreed.  I never ever turn on ESPN.  I don't even think about ESPN, unless there is a sporting event I want to see.

Wasn't this one of the reasons you guys supported Donald Trump, to say good bye to the PC culture that had run amok?   What's the problem?

I didn't support Donald, nor do I think Hill should be fired.

What is odd though is a Linda Cohn was 'suspended' for simply saying ESPN was getting to political and Hill keeps peddling along.  It's more or less making fun of what ESPN has turned into rather than calling for anyone to be fired.

:)

I hadn't watched the new Sportscenter until I was flipping through yesterday and saw those two.  I half expected the top sports story to be a group of gang bangers playing dice.

Jemele Hill, Bomani Jones, Dan Lebetard. I find to be highly disgusting people. Most of the others are just annoying, but those 3 take the cake.

I don't have a horse in this race and couldn't give two shiots what ESPN does, but what is their business model?  They are losing to Teletubbies, literally.

My God.  People want sports from a sports network, not left leaning racial politics.

I have tried to cut the cord.  I went so far as to buy an antenna and a booster and coax.  You think flipping past ESPN in the guide is bad, wait til your only choices are CBS, NBC, PBS, and Create.  Hide the razor blades.

liberals run away from definitions because once you define something you have to defend it.

I think if she had stones she'd say the entire system and everyone in it is a white supremist. Thats certainly what she is alluding to.

While they are idiots...

1.  I don't think it was just because it was an auction draft.  I mostly stayed away from the story...but if I heard correct...it involved actually having placards made up to hold up who you were drafting?  The appearance wasn't just of a fantasy auction.  Still...someone got overly sensitive Im sure.

2.  To prevent the stupidity that would come out of it...seeing how people quickly jumped on Sergio Dipp...they probably had that one right as to what the reaction would be for some.

Again...that said..>ESPN are idiots...they are basically shock jocks at times but gone very liberal to try and not offend only certain groups.  They are about the one place that gives credence from some of the stupid criticism from the right about all these groups being too sensitive and only making fun of certain other groups.

The appearance was like a car auction. But i think it was a bad look.

Just another reason to avoid ESPN, too bad, used to just leave the TV on that channel no matter what I was doing.

ESPN has made it very clear who they are now, if you are good with that, keep watching.  I'd wager their declining subscriptions and viewership ratings are a direct result but, they don't seem to mind.

Me too...it's pathetic. I'm just worn out from the grandstanding by everybody....including Fox. But my sports is the very last place I want to hear it....that's supposed to be our escape from all of that.

But as usual...ESPN likes the race baiters.....hope the whole channel falls on its face.
