Gerald Everrett a sneaky play?

Recommended Posts

With Cooper Kupp out for the season, I'm rolling with GE as my Tight End this week against the Chiefs. I'm hoping he gets just a few of the looks that would have went to Kupp. My only other option is Rudolph, but he's playing the Bears, so I'm not holding out hope of a good game. With KC unable to stop most anyone on defense, I don't see any reason why Everrett shouldn't get somewhere around 6-7 targets this week. It isn't a lot, but I'm betting on the upside of those targets vs. some other TE's I could take a flier on. He was a 2nd round pick with good speed and hands. Maybe this is his time to shine, while they are breaking in another WR to take over for Kupp.

I picked him up last week. I actually thought he'd be worth a play last season, but didn't really see much action.

I wouldn't be surprised if he did very well tonight.

Well that worked out pretty well :shocking:

I picked up Josh Reynolds but kept he and his 14 points on my bench. Oops

How do we like Everrett ROS? I just lost OJ Howard and I'm intrigued by his upside in this offense. The presence of Higbee takes away some targets but the loss of Kupp, Goff and the high scoring offense, and the way McVay used Jordan Reed in WAS are definite positives.

Solid streamer option. With TE's this year, I just look for TD potential and given the Rams offense I think that's there. He will probably struggle to find consist targets, but few waiver wire TE's are going to have his TD potential.
