Giants Offense/Marshall

Does anyone other then Odell have any value in their offense? Im being offered Marshall and Jonathan Stewart for Lamar Miller.....anybody have thoughts on this? Will Marshall put up numbers when Odell gets back?

I could be wrong but Marshall is in the show me stage right now

He wasn't good last season and he didn't show up in week 1

If he was his old self like we want, he wouldn't need OBJ to produce

The problem is less Eli and the WR's and more the Offensive line. They suck.

In my opinion Marshall will have better numbers when OBJ is on the field. (Although that's a no brainer since it won't be hard to improve on one catch!)

 

Against Dallas BMarsh was double covered most of game. Teams aren't going to be able to do that with OBJ playing opposite. The last time Eli had a big WR (Plexiglass Burress) they went to the Super Bowl. It's all speculation but I'd take that trade if I was thin at WR.

Tough to say since we haven't seen Marshall on the field with OBJ. Butt...as mentioned above, the Giants O-Line sucks meaning more sacks, more bad throws, less time to get downfield. I have to lean towards Thielen at this point.

Even when Manning had time (not often) he rarely looked in Marshall's direction. He seemed locked on to Shephard for whatever reason. Marshall had 3 targets which was disappointing.

I would stay with Marshall.

 

I didn't see much from Miller either.

 

Especially if it's a ppr league.

I picked up shepard as a last min flex start last week and now I'm debating whether he is a hold. If marshall is done Shepard has value as a high volume guy in ppr. I'd love to hold him another week to see how it shakes out...likely be out on some guys like golladay, kupp, ect if I do though.

The only reason Marshall got the one catch was because he had some kind fo streak going. At least that's what they said on the radio.

Marshall will be getting single coverage all year when OBJ on the field. I still like Marshall and think its funny how people write someone off after one bad game or bet the farm on a guy who has one good game. Patience. Stewart is garbage.

Eli averaged about 4,000 yards and 28 TD over the past 8 seasons.

He's played behind some horrible Oline in the past. I think Marshall will be fine.

Agree with the poster above, I still think he will be fine.

 

But I can see why the people that own him in ff are concern.
