My trade got vetoed WTF!

Recommended Posts

Someone offered kamara and julio for my melvin gordon and tate, which i accepted. They vetoed it and they're saying that it was lopsided. How can it be lopsided when tate got more pts than julio. He might have better numbers ROS but i dont think it'll be significantly better than tates. Gordon is a sure fire rb1, kamara got ingram now who will eat his carries and tds. Honest opinion guys, should this trade be vetoed.

No way. Did you get reasons why, other than lopsided? I bet you didn't. Damm voting process :wall:

I would venture to guess that some nay voters were thinking that it made one or both teams too strong.

Melvin Gordon and Kamara have bothbeen putting up huge numbers so far this season, but now that Ingram is back I'm sure his numbers won't be as crazy all year long now. So, I'm thinking people were looking at it this way. Kamara for Gordon (Fair) then Julio for Tate (lopsided)...just my opinion.

See mine please:

I totally disagree with leagues with voting on trades. There should be a commissioner who only vetoes truly lopsided trades, especially suspicious ones from a contender to a team out of the playoff picture. People will veto a trade just out of jealousy or wanting that player themselves.

The ONLY reason trades should be vetoed is for collusion or clear cut cheesy scumbag moves, ie trying to trade an injured player to an owner that hasn't heard yet, or something along those lines.

Otherwise, who CARES if a trade is lopsided? Let folks manage their own Fantasy teams as they wish. Maybe the Kamara/Julio owner feels that Ingram will eat into Kamaras carries too much, thus crippiling his starting value. Maybe he also feels that Ridley will start to emerge as Ryan's number 1 and Julio's numbers will take a hit because of it. The owner may be WRONG in thinking that, but it's his perrogative to have his opinions and manage his team accordingly.

As long as there is no collusion between 2 owners or obvious scumbag maneuvers, then a trade should stand.
