wezvidz 2 Posted September 19, 2014 PPR. My other option in my flex is Colston who got no catches last week at all. At least Vereen had a few measly points while he wasn't on the bench in favor of Ridley. Who is my flex?!?! Projected Yahoo points say Vereen, FantasyPros head-to-head comparison says go Colston by far. I'm lost.
GobbleDog 815 Posted September 19, 2014 Projecting Vereen's '13 stats into a full year equals "ppr gold", but counting on New England RBs hasn't worked well for years. I'm usually the guy who says "start a good RB at flex if you can."... but Vereen is a tough call. He ain't that reliable and his ceiling is somewhat limited in my mind. Filthy Fernadez 2,696 Posted September 19, 2014 Ah......the memories of owning a Patriots RB. He should be PPR gold but Bill Belichick hates you.
thePRO 78 Posted September 19, 2014 Ridley played so well last week, I have a bad feeling that Ridley will be used again :/

TheUsualSuspect 207 Posted September 19, 2014 Ridley played so well last week, I have a bad feeling that Ridley will be used again :/ Which is why Vereen will score three times this Sunday. I have Ridley/Vereen... And will start Ridley with no confidence whatsoever this week vs OAK.
Phil Simms 11 127 Posted September 19, 2014 I avoided drafting Pats players because of the constant injury report nonsense and wild swings in performance.
IGotWorms 3,302 Posted September 19, 2014 Raiders suck against the run. I ^expect^ that it will be all Ridley but who the hell can say for sure
weepaws 2,452 Posted September 19, 2014 Vereen right now is listed as questionable for this weekend .
TheUsualSuspect 207 Posted September 19, 2014 Vereen right now is listed as questionable for this weekend . Mind-Boggling. He couldn't have become injured @ MIN... He only touched the ball like 6 focking times.
Filthy Fernadez 2,696 Posted September 19, 2014 Vereen right now is listed as questionable for this weekend . That combined with his lack of use last week means he'll get the lion's share of the carries and screen passes. He'll most likely be a top 10 back (MAYBE 5) this week in PPR. Odds are 79.2% I'm right in my deciphering of Bill B.'s game plan.
Fireballer 2,369 Posted September 19, 2014 This is the first year since Corey Dillon that I have not carried at least 1 NE RB. It feels so good. I have been burned more times than Ive been right. Send Vereen to the Ridley owner and reduce your stress level. That being said, go with Vereen this week since I feel real strong that Ridley is shine this week. BiPolarBear 476 Posted September 19, 2014 I trusted him last week. It was an experience I refer to as painful.
Frozenbeernuts 1,652 Posted September 19, 2014 I think bill will go with ridley against a piss poor raiders embarrassment of a franchise, saddled with schmucks at every level of management, and save vereen for games against opponents who have NFL caliber talent. I also have Asiata to muddle the waters even more. But Colston vs Asiata (sharing carries this week?playing from behind less opportunity?) vs Vereen in my flex I still like Vereen. The Pats aren't all that this year, maybe James Jones + co will make a game of it requiring some aggressive offense with Vereen catching some balls.
