WKTSWAY 0 Posted June 17, 2006 My team is in my sig... 12 team league, standard scoring + 1 pt/reception. I'm thinking about offering the team with the 3rd overall rookie pick Droughns and my 3.11 pick (I have a 2.11 and a 3.11 only). With this pick, I would select Addai. If for some reason he goes in the 2nd pick, I would take DeAngelo. My question is, would this trade do me any good? I know this year Droughns is most likely > Addai, but I think in a dynasty league, Addai > Droughns. Would you give up Droughns for Addai if you were me, or if you had the 3rd pick, would you consider it? His RB's are: Bell, Ronnie Brown, Dunn, and Steven Jackson. Thanks for the help! Wildman 0 Posted June 17, 2006 Do it. Droughns is at best your #3 with less potential to be a #1 than Rudi or McGahee. Getting one of those two rookies will put in in line to have three higher quality backs in the future while not sacrificing too much in the present. I'm not sure why he'd take Droughns with his backs, but if he does--don't hesitate.

If he takes that trade, he's an idiot. He already has 4 RB's better then Droughns. Jackson/Brown make a very good 1-2 and either Dunn or Bell is a good RB3, certainly better then Droughns. Why would he make that trade when he can take a flyer on one of the rookie backs and keep who he already has? Since you're deepest at RB. isn't there any other team that needs one? There is the guy who has the #2 pick (and #4)... he has: Jesse Chatman, Travis Henry, Brandon Jacobs, Deuce McAllister, Adrian Peterson, and Toefield. I'll try getting his #2... if he doesnt bite, I may have to wait until the draft and if Addai is still there at #4, I'll try again.
WKTSWAY 0 Posted June 18, 2006 Well, both of the turned down the trade offer. I guess I will wait until draft day and try again if Addai is there at #4 or #5.
